Will There Always Be Free Runescape Accounts?

I hazard a positive guess at ‘Yes, Runescape will always have a free section in which people can register Free Runescape Accounts and play care-free’. I believe, and I’m sure that I’m not the only one, that if Runescape didn’t have a section in which you can register a Free Runescape Account, then it would ‘flop’ in the MMORPG market. True, there still would be some people playing, which includes the Runescape Member Account holders, but the majority of people onto the internet do not want to jump straight into paying something on a monthly basis without knowing what they are paying for.

Why?! What Limitations are There?

Unfortunately, Jagex have to make money somehow. Like any other business, it needs to make money in order to run, and in order to pay developers to keep creating Runescape. So unlike Free Runescape Accounts, there are Runescape Members Accounts. What are Runescape Member Accounts? Runescape Member Accounts provides a larger map, allows you to obtain more items and enjoy more of Runescape, and it only costs a small fee each month to be a Runescape Member. Free Runescape Accounts are good in one way though, they allow you to train up a wide variety of Runescape Skills.

As there are a wide variety of skills to train to level 99 for Free Runescape Account holders, you’ll not have much time on your hands whilst playing Runescape! Of course, you could take it slow, and there’s always the opportunity to open up more than one account because Jagex do not restrict you to only one account, you can setup a range of Free Runescape Accounts.
Other Types of Free Runescape Accounts?

Yes, there are other types of Free Runescape Accounts that you can get in Runescape. You may or may not know about this, but it’s obvious that there are people playing Runescape now on Free Runescape Accounts that they have been given by a friend or family member. Although it’s against Jagex rules to share accounts and trade accounts, people still continue to do so at their own risk. They risk having their Free Runescape Account banned as account sharing is a way that can be used to cheat. It can also lead to Free Runescape Accounts being stolen. Think of having shared an account with a friend for the period of a year and having gained a really high level, or few high levels on that Free Runescape Account. Then suddenly one day you can no longer sign onto that Free Runescape Account, and figure that the password has been changed…you lose out and there is nothing that can be done.

Sure, you could always sign up a new Free Runescape Account, but think of the time that was wasted and how much effort you put into the old Free Runescape Account.
General - Free Runescape Accounts

Have Free Runescape Accounts been the success of Runescape? I believe that if Runescape as a whole would not have taken off if it hadn’t started off as a game which allows you to setup Free Runescape Accounts. With Runescape allowing the creation of Free Runescape Accounts, Jagex hold a strong position in the MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing) market. The only downside being that you are limited to what you can do with a Free Runescape Account.

Secrect of Runescape Private Servers

Posted by: admin    in Runescape News

Why Have Runescape Private Servers?

Runescape Private Servers are ran mainly for those who are banned from the official game, are fed up playing with restrictions, or just don’t want to play on an official Runescape server. If your banned from Runescape, of course you want to play, and it seems as though a Runescape Private Server is the only option. If you’re fed up with restrictions in the official game, such as having to achieve certain levels to do simple things, or doing certain quests to get specific armour, then perhaps you want to try Runescape Private Servers. Or maybe your friend has set up a Runescape Private Server and wants you to support him and play because you got fed up with official Runescape…you may decide to jump onto his Runescape Private Server and give him a hand moderating.

Runescape Private Server Running Capabilities

So are there limits to the amount of people that can use Runescape Private Servers? Yes, normally a decent Runescape Private Server will hold approximately 30 players. Whoa! Indeed it’s much less than a normal Runescape server, but remember that the Runescape servers are extremely powerful, where as the Runescape Private Servers are in most cases being run by normal people using a Runescape client on their personal computer. Something that ties in with the amount of people on a Runescape Private Server is the speed of it. The more people connecting = the more lag each person experiences. Considering the power of the personal computer is average, then consider an amount of 30 people or so each requesting new parts of map, new items, fighting, along with the many other things that can be done, it puts enormous load on the computer, and in turn will slow it down.
What are Runescape Private Servers?

Runescape Private Servers provide you with a Runescape game…that is controlled by the players, and not Jagex Ltd. Runescape Private Servers are almost a copy of Runescape, but think of Runescape that has had quite a few modifications and isn’t quite up-to-date as the current live Runescape game. “Moparscape”, that’s the name given to the console that Runescape Private Servers are running through. Maybe you’ve heard of it? Well, Moparscape allows users to connect to Runescape Private Servers through a pleasing graphical user interface - what’s more commonly known to players as the “logon screen”.
Runescape Private Servers are Different?

Yes, there are varieties of things that are different on Runescape Private Servers. One being that you can generate your own Runescape Items and have whatever quantity you want. Another being the level-up system, as users can set the level-up experience to whatever they want, which tends to make levelling your account on a Runescape Private Server very much easier than on an original Runescape Server. Become a mod! You can easily become a moderator on a Runescape Private Server…what with little competition, and the fact that it’s not really going to matter what you do as a moderator as your only playing on an image of Runescape and not the real version.

how to get runescape Cursors

Posted by: admin    in Runescape Discussion & Wiki

How to Change to Your New Runescape Cursor

I’ve seen Runescape Fansites switch a person’s Cursor to a Runescape Cursor…how?

Ahh, so you’ve also been hit by the little trick that changes your normal cursor to a Runescape Cursor depending upon the website that your on? Your Cursor is “auto-magically”changed by CSS, and depending on what has been set by the developer of the Runescape Site, your cursor will change accordingly.

This CSS ‘fix’ that can be used is as follows and this will change the cursor for the ‘body’ of the page:-

</style type=”text/css”> </!– BODY { cursor:url(”</url of your cursor>”); } –>

Alternatively, you could look at changing specific text on a page to a Runescape Cursor  style by using the following CSS:-

<p style=”cursor:url(”URL-OF-CURSOR”)”>When Hovering Over This, The Cursor Will Change</p>

There are many different variations in which you can use Runescape Cursors, and it’s hard to put a limit on how they can be used and what they can be applied to.
What are Runescape Cursors?

Your computer will come standard with a ‘pointer’ cursor. This is basically the arrow that you use to ‘point’ at icons on your screen and perform actions on the computer. So what are Runescape Cursors? Runescape Cursors are simply cursors that use an image that is taken from Runescape and then converted to a special file type in order to be used as a cursor and therefore creating Runescape Cursors, either .ani or .cur files.

So how can I get Runescape Cursors?

In order to get Runescape Cursors, you can easily search for ‘Runescape Cursors’ in a search engine and then sift through the results and eventually find one that you’re interested in using. Why go for a boring Runescape Cursor, when you can download a whole package of interesting and exciting Runescape Cursors?!

A good website that provides Runescape Cursors can be found through the link below:-

Click Here For Free Runescape Cursors

They provide a variety of good Runescape Cursors that range from a Runescape Dragon Medium Helmet Cursor to Runescape Godsword Cursors! Be sure to check out all of the related Runescape Cursor sets in order to obtain and use a wide variety of Runescape Cursors.

What can I do if I want to make Runescape Cursors?

So…you fancy making your own Runescape Cursors? It’s not actually as hard as you might think it is to make Runescape Cursors. All you need is image editing software, for example Paint or Photoshop…and be able to screenshot Runescape Items.

You could always use a Runescape Help website that will include instructions on how to do such things as creating Runescape Cursors, but it would take you ages to find one dedicated to Runescape Cursor building and the usage of Runescape Cursors. To save you the time, the same website mentioned before that provides a wide variety of Runescape Cursors also provides a very good guide explaining how to change your cursor. This guide to changing to a Runescape Cursor can be found through the following link:-

Runescape Trainer used by most runescape players

   Posted by: admin    in Uncategorized

Runescape Trainers - is it usefully

It’s true that Runescape Trainers may seem all good and may appeal to a lot of Runescape players. Some fall to the trap of using Runescape Trainers, and some walk free of it and manage to steer away from the joy…and sadness that they bring. It may show greatness if you suddenly gain many level 99s in skills that normally take months upon months to obtain…but once you are found out by Jagex then it really is the end of the line and your account will almost certainly be banned on a permanent basis.

the advantage of use runescape trainers

So do you take the risk and cancel out the consequences? Or do you play fairly, knowing that you are one of many that stay away from Runescape Trainers, the effects that they have on Runescape players and that you keep Runescape that little bit better. Remember that although it may only seem like your making a small difference to Runescape, but in turn, you really are making a huge difference by keeping Runescape free from that extra Runescape Autoer.

Training Hasn’t Been Easier! I Can Now Talk Faster!

“Wow, training my Runescape Account has become so much faster and I can now talk so much faster since I’ve started using my Runescape Trainer. Best of all, it was free!” - Just one of many quotes that you can find littered across the internet. It’s true, that you can get Runescape Trainers to, for example, to Woodcut or Mine for you automatically. It’s also true that you can get them with a built in chat feature which will keep posting out the same message again and again for you to keep requesting items or advertising items. Don’t let all this shadow you from playing the game in a fair and honest way though! Runescape wouldn’t be as it is now if people using these Runescape Cheats wern’t kept at bay, so play your part and report someone you see using Runescape Autoers!

If your thinking of using any type of Runescape Trainer, or a variety of Runescape Trainers, then think very carefully because Jagex will ban anyone using any sort of program(s) that allow a player to gain an unfair advantage in-game above the rest of the players of Runescape. Be aware that Jagex monitor the game closely and if found using a Runescape Trainer then your account will possibly be permanently banned.
How Runescape Trainers Work and runs?

Runescape Trainers allow you a way to cheat in order to get your levels up much more quickly than you would normally be able to. By using a Runescape Trainer, you’re able to totally drop everything you’re currently doing on the computer, and do pretty much whatever you want. That’s right, Runescape Trainers are basically programs that you can setup to do almost whatever you want it to do and then leave your computer to spend time with friends, do that homework you’ve been meaning to do all weekend, and even go to sleep!

Some story of runescape players Using Runescape Bots?

Have you ever experienced someone using Runescape Bots? Perhaps you’ve been distracted by someone repeatedly advertising or a message displaying over and over again by the same person. Or maybe there are a group of people using Runescape Bots at your favourite mining spot and the ore you’re trying to mine keeps running out. Whatever your experience with Runescape Bots, let us know about it by filling in the comment box with your experience and then submitting the comment.

Different kinds of  Runescape Bots?

Yes, there are many different types of Runescape Bots, that can do a wide variety of things. For example, there are Runescape Bots that can Woodcut and Mine, or Firemake and Runecraft. Then there are Runescape Bots that just type out the same phrase over again in order to get a message out when buying or selling an item, and even to advertise a website against Runescape rules that sells Runescape Gold or Runescape Accounts.

What are Runescape Bots used for?

Argghh, not more Runescape Bots! No, not quite, this is just an article about Runescape Bots…programs used by ‘Runescape Autoers‘. Runescape Bots are basically programs that can be set to do something in Runescape over…and over…and over again. They are used by cheaters and the people who use these, if found out, are permanently banned by Jagex, the creators of Runescape.

Funescape Players of benefit of  Using Runescape Bots?

People use Runescape Bots in order to gain an unfair advantage against all of the other players of Runescape. Why? In order to become the best, or gain a large amount of specific items. People use Runescape Bots mainly to make lots of Runescape Gold. Can you guess what then happens with the Runescape Gold generated using Runescape Bots? Yes, it gets sold on Runescape Gold selling websites. Regardless of this being against the rules of Runescape, people still continue to do this, so Jagex put some limits into the game to prevent the rule breakers from continuing at what they do.

Jagex rule of item trade price?

Jagex put a restriction in place to prevent Runescape Gold sellers and Runescape Bot users. This restriction stops you from un-fairly trading items and works on the difference between item prices. The trade limit was originally set at 3,000gp for every 15 minutes of play. For members, this could be increased by the amount of Quest Points that a player has. Recently, Jagex increased the trade limit to 10,000gp and for members who had sufficient Quest Points. Not only has this allowed players to play more in peace and enjoy the game without having to watch some random character cheat, but it’s majorly decreased the business that the Gold Selling Runescape Bot users have, if not taken it totally away.

With Runescape under surveiliance by Jagex Staff and so called ‘undercover police’, be assured that Jagex will keep on cracking down on people cheating with the use of Runescape Bots.

The Runescape Combat Calculator
On many top Runescape fan sites you will notice that they provide a set of skill calculators. What are skill calculators? Basically a skill calculator tells you what level you currently are and the amount of individual items you need to carry out to get to your next level. A combat calculator will ask you for your current levels in; attack, strength, defence, hitpoints, range, magic and prayer. When it has used a calculation on these skills it will return you with your current combat level and how many levels of either of the skills you need to advance in to gain your next combat level.

Combat Level Explained and Its Influence
By knowing a player’s or monsters combat level you are able to tell how hard it would be to defeat them in the case of a battle. Levels that are a lot lower than yours will appear in green, levels that are a little lower than yours will show slightly more yellow, levels that are the same as yours will appear as yellow and levels higher than you range from orange to deep red.

Monsters that attack you without warning will normally only stop attacking you if your combat level has equalled or is slightly/a lot higher than theirs. This is different with all monsters as some will attack you no matter what Combat level you are.

If a monster is a higher level than you then you cannot just click on it to attack it, you must right click to attack it. This is for your own characters safety as you may not want to risk losing to a monster that is 80 levels higher than you and could potentially kill you in one hit.

Each new player of Runescape 2 starts off as a level 3 and can reach a maximum of level 126. This differs to Runescape Classic where the maximum level is 123.

Calculating Your Combat Level
Get your Prayer level, divide it by two and then round the number down. For example: If your Prayer level is 47 and you divide it by two it gives you 23.5. You then need to round this down which will give you 23.
You need to add the above result to your Defence and Hitpoints level and then divide the whole lot by 4. This is called a base combat level. For example: If your Defence level is 50, Hitpoints level is 50 and your Prayer level is 47 then you should end up with the result 36.75.
Now add your Attack and Strength levels to one another and times them by 0.325. Add this to the base combat level which is made by using methods 1 and 2. You will now have your melee combat level.
There is only real need to carry on now if your Magic or Range level is not a lot higher than your Attack and Strength levels. Use the highest level from your Magic and Range levels. Range is used in the next step.
Divide the Range level by 2 and then round down. Add your Range level to this and you are given a result.
Times this result by 0.325 and then add it to your base combat level calculated in step 2. You will now have what’s called a magic combat level. So is the above calculation absolutely 100% correct? The answer is no. No-one other than Jagex knows the exact combat calculation. This is why you will see on all fan sites, ‘This combat calculator is 99.9% correct, we are trying to produce 100% correct results.’ Jagex say that they have never ever given out the exact calculation.
Different Between Runescape Classic and Runescape 2 Combat Levels
You may find out that your level is different on Classic than it is in Runescape 2. Do not worry about this; it is due to the fact that levels are calculated differently in each version. I know it may seem confusing, but would you really hate gaining some levels…

Zezima Info – Runescape’s Zezima
So who is Zezima? Well if you are asking that question I’m assuming you haven’t been playing Runescape for very long. Zezima is one of most talked about players of all online games. Of course to gain his popularity he has been the top player in the Runescape high scores for some time now. However this attention has made him a large target for speculation and insults. The majority of Runescape players believe he is a “no life noob” or “married to his pixels” as well as many people speculating that “Zezima is a 4 man Korean team” sharing the account and Zezima’s password. Speculation has even been made about his gender with many people believing that Zezima is actually a girl.

The Truth about Zezima of Runescape
The very unexciting truth about Zezima is that he is just a regular person just like you and me. He is 21 and attends college which gives him quite a bit of time to play Runescape. However, it is obvious that he has a much higher focus and commitment than the majority of players. He keeps his motivation high by setting goals and challenging himself to see how fast he can achieve experience points.

Being the highest ranked player in Runescape isn’t without its draw backs. He has hundreds of people asking him questions daily when they see him online. You can imagine seeing him in-game. All of a sudden the world he is on quickly fills up and people crowd around him begging for money.

Why is Zezima so famous?
Well, the obvious reason behind this is his success in the game itself. He is an idol for thousands of kids across the world who play RuneScape. He is the Michael Jordan of Runescape you could say. If you are lucky to see him in-game, he will quickly be bombarded with people saying “Zezima, Zezima, money!” He also started playing in June of 2001 which makes him somewhat of a veteran to the RuneScape community. Unlike most highly skilled players, Zezima isn’t cocky about his success. He encourages all levels of people to keep playing and setting goals to reach. I think his overall attitude of the game is an important role in him staying famous.

Interesting information about Zezima
Probably one of the most important dates to Zezima was when he first reached #1 ranked in Runescape which was in October 2003, he has pretty much consistently held this spot ever since.

He is studying Biology/Psychology.

He was married on August 9th 2006 to Elianstp, who he is dating in real life. He also had a girlfriend “Ju1es” before Elianstp.

His first level 99 skill was smithing.

So you must have wondered where the name Zezima came from? It is actually his real last name. His real name is Peter Zezima Apparently despite being the most skilled player in the game he isn’t as rich as you might think often spending the money earned from one skill on developing other skills. Also he has never published his bank account nor has does anyone else know Zezima’s password.

Peter Zezima
As you can see, Zezima is just a normal person who loves to play an online game. Not only has he succeeded in RuneScape, but in real life as well. So stop the rumors and insults. Would you want someone calling you a hacker or a group of people if you were Zezima? Overall I think he is a great RuneScape player that brings a lot of “good” into the game.

Runescape 3
You may not know it but the Runescape game that you play today is actually called Runescape 2. WHAT?! I hear you say. Yes, it’s true, the Runescape you’ve been playing is really the second version of the game. So what was the first version of the game? Runescape Classic. To find out about Runescape Classic please read the Runescape Classic article. Runescape 2 is the 3D version of the game, as Classic was 2D. More skills were introduced in Runescape 2 and more places, items, monsters and people have been added.

Jagex Plans for Runescape 3 or Runescape 3 Beta
Would you like to play on Runescape 3 or Runescape 3 Beta? Well, I’m sorry to say that there is no such thing. You may see claims that you can try out Runescape 3 on a Runescape 3 Beta website, I can only tell you to not sign onto these or bother looking into them at all, these are all Runescape scam sites and often contain viruses. These scam sites can steal your Runescape account and many thousands of people have had their accounts stolen from sites claiming to be Runescape 3.

If there were to be a Runescape 3 Beta website then Jagex would post this on the home page of the official Runescape website.

The Possibility of there Being a Runescape 3 in the Future
To be perfectly honest there is probably a high chance that there will be a Runescape 3 in the future. I know that Jagex says that there are ‘no plans for a Runescape 3’, but I find it hard to believe that over the next 2 to 5 years there won’t be dramatic changes/advancements in game engine technology that won’t warrant a significant and dramatic change to the game that will be class as an entirely new version of the game.

Improvements That Might Be Included in a Runescape 3 Realese
If Runescape 3 was ever released I expect that Jagex would possibly give the places a sleeker look, along with the items, monsters, and players. Another excellent improvement would be that if the dragons would perhaps hover over the floor and look like their wings are flapping slowly to give the effect that the dragon was flying. IT would be most likely that a a compelte gaming engine overhaul will mainly be focussed around the idea of improved game performance more so than changes in the style of play itself, though like the upgrade from Runescape Classic to Runescape 2 there may well be a revision of the gameplay.

I’m sure a lot of people will fantasise over many things that could be improved on, so Ill leave it at that.

Will Runescape Become like other MMORPGs such as WoW
Does Runescape need to be put onto CDs and be installed on computers rather than constantly downloaded? The answer from a lot of players is YES! Many people think that Runescape should follow in the footsteps of WoW and other such MMORPGs, but is there anything else to it other than burning the files to a CD and distributing it to shops all over the country, the answer again is yes. It would cost Jagex millions to provide a CD version of the game, but it is doubtful that they wouldn’t make the money back over a short period of time.

Runescape 3 Being Played on other Gaming Platforms like Playstation or Nintendo Wii
There have already been discussion between Jagex and other gaming platform operators about the potential for porting Runescape to a console game, and considering that many console gaming machines are more frequently incorporating internet access it seems like a logical step for Runescape to venture into the console gaming market. I think that if Jagex offered this then Runescape would really send Runescape mainstream.

Anyway for the time being we must be happy with the current Runescape 2 version of the game, but I expect that in the coming couple of years that Jagex will make a revolutionary change to the game whether it be the gaming engine used, the style of game play or the medium which the game is played on that will warrant the upgrade to Runescape 3 status.

Runescape Maps Introduction

Posted by: admin    in Runescape Help, Runescape Tips

Runescape Maps Introduction
There are so many places in the whole of Runescape, it’s too hard to keep track of them and exactly what is where. Think of how you can sometimes forget the names of places or forget where the general store is in Lumbridge…and that’s just the free players world! The members world is over twice the size of the free players world and it is simple for even the most experienced players to forget where Yanille or Fremmenik Province is.

Free Players Map of Runescape
Being less than half the size of the members world and therefore taking up less map space, the Free Players still have plenty of the map to roam. With members maps increasing in size, more and more people are being attracted to Runescape membership. To the right is a picture of the Runescape world map:

Members Map of Runescape
You could say that members have far too much of the Runescape map than they can handle…that is, of course, if you are a free player and are not allowed to sign up for membership at this point in time. When you are a Runescape member the world of Runescape is your oyster and you’ll never be stuck for a place to go as there are areas in even the nooks and crannies of the Runescape map.

Runescape Map Websites
There are many sites on the internet that provide Runescape maps that cover almost every area of the game. On websites like these there are maps for towns, maps for dungeons and for those Pkers out there, maps for the Wilderness. Some of the better websites for Runescape maps are as follows:

Runescape Map
Rune HQ
Zybez
Making Runescape Maps
It is relatively easy to make your own Runescape Maps for other people to use. Not only are you helping other people but you can even refer to them yourself if your stuck in-game. All you have to do is get a copy of the full Runescape Map and then copy parts of it in an image editing program and then write up about the different parts. You can download a full copy of the Runescape World Map from the Official Runescape Website through the link below:

Runescape Clans
Many MMORPGs have clans within them, Runescape is one of these and is home to many hundreds of clans. A clan is a group of players who have joined together to form a group or team. People form clans for many reasons, whether it be to group up on someone in the wilderness or complete quests together.

Clan Specifications
Many clans in Runescape will require you to have a certain combat level, have certain skills, or even have a certain item if the clan is specifically for those wearing the same item. The item could be for example; full rune and a green halloween mask or full green dragonhide and a magic shortbow. The options are almost endless!

Top 5 Runescape Clan Websites
The top 5 Runescape Clan websites can be found below. This list is taken from ‘The Runescape Clan List – Number 1# Clan List!’ and may differ from other websites.

The Hatred
Fearless
The Golden Gods
Crimson Templar
The United Freedom Fighters
Finding a Runescape Clan
Finding a clan isn’t that hard. There are many places you can go to find a clan to join. Whether it be the Official Runescape Website or by searching for one on a search engine such as Google or Yahoo. You will most probably have to apply to join the clan and then your application will be accepted or declined. Do not worry if you are declined from one, there are plenty of Runescape clans out there which are willing to hire anybody willing to join them and will be grateful for your participation in their clan events.

Runescape Clan Wars and Pking Clans
The majority of Runescape clans are Pking Clans, short for Player Killing Clans. These clans organise trips for their members to go out into the wilderness to team up on other people with the hope of winning the killed persons items. If you decide to join a Pking then watch out as even someone you are really good friends can ‘accidentally’ click you. Make sure you also use a LootShare world so you do not miss out on the prize of kills. There are also fights between clans in order to see who is the best. These are commonly known as Runescape clan wars and are the most deadly battles in the Wilderness.
