As I am sure you know, runescape is a widely played rpg. There are many ways you can spend your time playing runescape. In this guide I will talk about making money.

f you are a high enough mage lvl to use telegrab, do one of the following:

1)Go north of falador past the anvil and past goblin village to the left, until you get to the temple where there is wine of zamorak on the table. keep using telegrab on the wine. get your mage lvl up fast and your money. store the wine in the bank in fally and go back for more. when you are satisfied with how much you have, go to varrock and put them all in the exchange for the market price of 795gp each!

2)you can use telegrab under the bank in varrock, but that only gives you, gold bar, gold ore, and some coins.

3)in the wild near lesser demons, use telegrab for nature runes.

Or:

buy mass amounts of ores from the exchange and then smelt them into bars and sell the bars for a big profit.(taken from thread “haw do i get millions on runescape” which was my post originally, although there is a guide rewritten in this section.)

or:

if your a high enough combat lvl, go to the wild where there are moss giants, there is noone here like there would be by hill giants in sewers, although they are lvl 42, get the bbones plus the chaos runes that spawn arount them.
Now, there are certain level requirements obviously, the guide is pretty explanitory, once you can do this you just do it with better things as you level up.

Any of the following will work great:

1) mine coal and iron and make a lot of steel bars and sell them at the exchange for 520 each.
–(alternately buy the coal and iron from the exchange, make the bars, then sell the bars for 520 each)(still making a lot of money, about 300 gp per bar)

2) making mith bars, fastest way is to mine coal and buy the mith (from exchange) then smelt it and sell the bars for about 1200gp each
but if u want to mine all day thats up to u.

3) kill hill giants and take there bones to the exchange and sell for 300 each. that way you get your combat and your money up. (alternately Moss Giants)

Hello, there dear runescape players. Every week I will try to write a new issue of guides. This is issue #1. These will have different info on skills, runescape updates, and much more. If you have any questions please email me at runescape2coin@gmail.com  Now, onto the guide part.

This guide will tell you how to make runescape money. There are hundreds of guides telling you how to make money in rs. So what makes this guide any different? This is different because I will tell you how to make money on many different skills! (Some skills are impossible to make any good money)

Mining: This my favorite skill to make money on but you do not really get a whole lot of money until you can mine at least iron. Iron is very underestimated on how much money you can make with it. It is always coal, coal, coal. If you have about 50 mining iron is almost three times faster to mine than coal. That is about a 75 gold piece difference for every 3 iron! That may not seem like much right now but once you get over a thousand iron it makes a huge difference seeing as you would only have approximately 400 coal which can lead up to as much as a 30000 gold differential.
The best place to mine iron is the Varrock mines. Which one you go to does not really matter because the banks are about the same distance from the mining spot. I would suggest the west side just because there usually less people there. However if you prefer the east side you can go there. If you mine at about the normal rate you should get about 400 iron an hour with banking. Then once you get all the iron you want you can go sell it and bring in the profits. Also, just because I am only writing about iron does not mean it is the quickest way to make money mining. Mining runite is a much faster way to make money. However most people do not have 85 mining.

making runescape money via Woodcutting:
You will need to be able to cut yew trees, which take level 60 woodcutting. Once you can cut them though head to Edgeville ruins. There are two yews right there. Keep cutting them down and banking them. When finished head back to Varrock and sell at west bank or grand exchange.

making runescape money via Smelting:
Smelting is also a very good way to make money. It is time consuming but is well worth it after you make one million gold pieces in as little as 3 hours. For this you will need to be able to smelt steel bars. This requires level 30  smithing. You will need iron ore and coal. If you can mine iron ore I would do that and buy the coal from the grand exchange or a good seller. If you have time though you can mine both iron and coal. Or you can buy both, whatever you would like to do. After you have the materials head to Al Kharid. Call out that you are hiring a smither. Tell them you give the materials. They just have to smith the bars. You can then tell them how much you will pay them for each bar. 50 gold pieces each is a fair price for each bar they smith. However there are many people who will smith for free, just to get experience. Once you get two or three people to help you give them around 50 coal and 25 iron. You may give more once they become more loyal and you are ABSOLUTELY sure that they will not scam you. Once they start smithing you can start smithing too, or go do something else. Just keep up this process until all your ore is gone. Now you can sell your steel bars at the grand exchange or sell them at the east bank in Falador. That concludes the smithing guide to make money.

making runescape money via Combat:
making runescape money viaThere are many different ways to make money on combat. However they are usually slower than other skills so I would not suggest doing this if you are only it for the money. However it is useful because you are training your combat.
Option 1: This is the best option if you are a low-leveled player You can go to a farm and kill chickens. If you can go into the Champion’s Guild that makes things much easier. Start slaughtering poor, little helpless chickens and pick up their feathers and bones. Feathers can sell for 4 gold each while bones can sell for 50 gold each. Keep doing this and banking until you are tired of watching the same thing happen over and over again. Head to Varrock. Go below the west bank and offer all of your bones for 50 each. Once you sell all of your bones, head up to the grand exchange and sell the feathers for 4 each or whatever the lowest price is. You are then done.

Option 2: This option is for players with at least 25 combat. Head to the Edgeville ruins and go down the ladder. Make your way to a huge cavern with hill giants. Go kill them and pick up their big bones. If you are below level 40 combat I would suggest you fight conservatively so you do not get killed. Once you fill up your inventory go back out the cave and bank all of your big bones. Keep doing this until you wish to sell. Then you go below the Varrock east bank and sell them for 400 each.

Option 3: This option is only for players 60 and above. For this you will be attacking Lesser Demons. Although lower levels can kill demons I would not advise lower levels trying this because you will need food which will cut down the profits sizeably. The best place to kill lessers is at the wilderness by the muddy key chest. Keep killing lessers until they drop a rune med helmet. This may take a while but the helmets are worth 10000 gold! Once you get some rune helmets head back to Varrock bank and sell. This is the slowest option of the three.

making runescape money via Fishing:
This skill is probably less boring then mining and smithing because you do not have to do anything while you are fishing. Hey, you can even be on Runescape Haven while you are fishing. The best way to get money from fishing is lobsters. Lobsters are only on the island of Karamja. To get to Karamja you have to get on the boat that takes you there from Port Sarim. Just bring 1000 coins and you will not have to worry about the money it costs to take the ship. Once you arrive head north to the fishing area. Start loading them in. You can stand there and chat or you could doing something else on your computer or maybe you could be reading this very guide while fishing. Once you get an inventory load you have to go back to sea from Karamja. There is no point in cooking them except for experience as cooked lobsters are worth less than raw lobsters. Once you get back at Port Sarim head to Draynor and put them in the bank. Keep doing this until you feel that you have enough to sell and make a good profit. When ready to sell lobsters head to Varrock or the wilderness. If going to Varrock you should find someone buying for at least 225 each. If not head to grand exchange or try a different world. Good luck becoming rich as a fisher.

Have you ever tried to fight hill giants and come up with nothing? Too many people stealing your giant? With this tip, you will even beat rangers to the punch. (Most of the time.) When you want to be the first to hit a giant, this is what you do:

Notice where the giant spawns,  go stand about one step  from that spot. But here is the catch, stand facing  away from where he spawns.

You will be amazed at the amount of time you will win the race to gut the giant. Try it and enjoy the big bones and experience!

As everybody knows scamming is the biggest problem with RuneScape, however, people are warned all the time about these Runescape scams and I’m here to narrow down as many signs of scammers as I can to make life in RuneScape easier for you.

False Friends and Hacked Beggars:
(Non-member & Member) Now i’m sure everybody can recall a time when a friend or few have claimed they were banned or hacked and even perhaps scammed and ask for your items or cash to help them out. This is even seen with net dates. However do not give in to these demands they aren’t your friend if they expect you to give up your things to replace theirs, it is wisest to remove these people from your friends list or say now and thats their only warning or risk losing your friendship.
Armor Trimming: (Non-member *unlikely member*)
This is a very popular scam used by many and is seriously out-dated and useless. Although I’m sure you agree when I say you can never be too careful when it comes to your items. The number one thing you must know is armors cannot be trimmed, they are a reward given to members for completing clue scrolls of various levels. If anyone offers to trim your armor do not respond and report them with the report abuse button and make sure you select the appropriate abuse as you enter their name.

Normal Scammers: (Non-member & Member)
These guys are the most popular form of scammers in RuneScape. Basicly what they do is try to pull out their items making you think your getting a good deal counting on you clicking fastly to get that awesome deal before they come to their senses and deny the trade. I urge you to slowly make trades even if it risks them denying the trade because I’m sure you know its better to be safe then sorry.Another way these popular scammers trick you is by trying to replace k’s with 4’s to make the price seem the same, this is where your eyesight comes in, pay attention to their trades and even if you click okay the first time, pay attention at the second window in order to insure it was a safe trade even if it means losing the trade with that person.
Jagex Impersonators: (Non-member & Member)
This is another old but popular scam mostly with non-members where a normal player will say he is a moderator and really isn’t. What they do is ask for your password to make you a moderator or use an excuse that they will ban you if you don’t let them look at it. At this point what you need to know is that Jagex will NEVER ask for your password they have access whenever they want it, if your going to be banned they wont warn you especially not personally, and they bare a silver crown if they are a moderator and a gold crown if they are jagex staff. As soon as you find a player who claims to be a staff of jagex go straight to the report abuse button and select the appropraite abuse as you enter their name.

Lurers: (Outdated)
These scammers are the more recently expanding scammers that try to intice you with great offers for your items, telling you they will pay double for your items or sell you an item for much less its normal value if you come to them. How to avoid being scammed by these guys is simple, merely ask if they will come within safe distance from the wildy or to the nearest bank and if they refuse or say they can’t stay much longer to hurry and make the trade then merely walk away and remove them from your list. There is no rule against this form of scam.

Deep Wilderness Lurers: (Outdated)
These scammers are going to try to get at your items using other items, such as your d chain would be replaced by torag legs if you died and had the maximum amount of items in your inventory. Please note that RuneScape see the barrows armors as rarer and worth more then dragon armors and phats ect. Mostly these scammers target one person and have a decoy to join them to make you think it was just random people. The best way to know if thats what they are out to do is if they say they want you to use your rare items but offer you to take only 3 so you don’t lose them. If you go to bank and they refuse your company without those items then turn back and if you absolutely want to do it DO NOT PICK UP ANYTHING IN THE WILDERNESS. There is no rule against this scam.

Net Dates: (Non-member & Member)
Now no one likes someone asking random people online to date them, now net dating is popular in RuneScape but if your going to do it then make sure that they aren’t in it for the items, before you ask them out or accept their offer please test them by saying you don’t give away items to anybody and if they say thats not why they asked then sure give them a shot but be on your guard and if they ask to borrow something say no. Sometimes they try to pressure you into it by saying “Well if you loved me you would let me borrow them” at this point the appropraite response would be “Well if you loved me then you wouldn’t ask for my items” and there are many combinations to that which you can use in defense just don’t get into a relationship with someone who is in it for the items.

Runescape Item Scammers: (Non-member & Member)
Much like normal scammers item scammers will try to remove certain amounts of cash and items but these popular scammers try to trick you by saying an item is rare and worth a lot of cash when its really worthless. Now jagex has made certain items untradable because of this but there are still items that people use to sell for more profit. Although it is a flawed scam and most people never fall for it, it is still a good idea to check on prices of all things even if they are not accurate they may come closer to your real price. If you run across someone trying to put an item off as soemthing its not by saying its better then others like it please click the report abuse button and select the appropraite abuse as you enter their name.

Well hello there! Sorry this one took a little longer than planned. This issue #2 of my biweekly articles. It is about how different the economy is from what it used to be a year ago, or even from runescape classic.

The first days of the grand exchange were good ones. The grand exchange looked like it was going to be a great update. It made selling and buying so much easier and much faster.  Sadly though, people were only buying at the maximum or minimum amount you could pay for items. Jagex controls these limits. So when Jagex changed the market prices the maximum and minimum would increase or decrease. So when players bought and sold for the maximum or minimum this would continue to increase or decrease. It may only be 100 gold pieces at a time but the market soon changed immensely into the economy we see today.

Think back before the grand exchange was introduced to the market. When coal was 200 gold pieces each and rune armor set was 185,000 gold. Or when full Guthix was only 1,200,000 gold. It seems like a very long time since the economy has changed so drastically. It has only been since October though. How has the market changed so much? It is due mostly to the Grand Exchange. The Grand Exchange is a big market where someone can sell items for a price that Jagex makes. All of the items that you put on the Grand Exchange to sell go to all of the worlds and if someone else playing runescape on a different world wants your item they can buy it even if they are on a different world.

There was also a 3000 gold piece limit on how much you could make or lose when you trade items. The item’s prices were determined by Jagex once again. This was one of the most controversial update runescape has ever seen. However this has finally rid runescape of scamming.

I myself prefered the old economy better than the new one we are in now. However because all of the real world trading is gone that makes up for it. The overall prices I think I had just gotten so accustomed to. Then when the big changes came, mainly kinds of rune armor, I just was not used to it.  However some people do indeed like this new market that has taken over runescape. Whether you like it or not though, there is nothing that we can do about it right now except by changing it slowly. So would you like to change it, or keep it the same?

runescape will be end this year

Posted by: admin    in Runescape News

Towards the end of 2007, and the new beginning of 2008, the world of Runescape has, what some people will say, suffered due to the new updates by Jagex, such as The Grand Exchange, the new Trade System, or even the new Bounty Hunters, and more. Many players have claimed to have quit the game due to these updates, and many also claim that the game will end. Though the last part is VERY unlikely due to the amount of new players signing up daily and many players do not know the real reason to these update and why it has to be done. Here I will explain the updates by Jagex that have caused a lot of commotion in Runescape, and was it really worth the time to make these updates.
Now Bounty Hunters and Clan Wars have received many complaints from hundreds of players, maybe even thousands. From the release of Bounty Hunters and Clan Wars, it ended the life of Pking (Player Killing) in the wild. At first, it was a big excitement. “Oh lets go check out Bounty Hunters, I heard its great.” or, “Finally a spot for clans to have wars!” But soon the excitement ended. Pkers became angry that they couldn’t kill anyone in the wild. No longer could they sneak up and attack a player with Rune Armor, or just kill them for the XP. Clan Wars, was not blamed for it all, because after all, it was a spot for Clans, and many players like it. Bounty Hunters was to blame. Bounty Hunters was a spot in the Wild where you could kill other players around the same level as you. But as you are hunting the person you are suppose to kill, another player is hunting you. At first Bounty Hunters was fun, because like in the wild you lose everything, and the killer gets the “gold”. But the fun would not last. Pkers began to fill Runescape Forums with Rants about the new update, while others didn’t care, because now they could kill Greater Demons, or Green Dragons without worrying about players attacking them. The reason this became a big issue is because Pking was a big thing in Runescape. It was the reason for Pure Accounts, or Hybrids. It was a great way to make money, and it was a way to make fun of other players who ran off, or couldn’t kill you. Pking was one of the best things that happened to Runescape. The big question for this again is, was it worth making Bounty Hunters and Clan Wars? Many would argue, “Yes to Clan Wars, no to Bounty Hunters!” while others would say, “Yes to both.” Now, this is a big deal in Runescape and neither are wrong answers, whether you’re a Pker or not. The reason for this is because Clan Wars is not really to blame for the “old” Wild to be gone. Bounty Hunters was really the big one that caused issues. Yes, you cannot PK in the wild anymore, and yes Pking in Runescape is gone forever, but ask yourself this, “Isn’t Bounty Hunters like Pking?” If you answered yes, then you are right. In Bounty Hunters you can still kill other players for their riches, that is if they bring it, or you can just kill them for the XP. Whatever the choice is, Bounty Hunters is very much like Pking, but with some things different. Yes Bounty Hunters still needs adjustments to it, but Bounty Hunters and Clan Wars where good ways to stop scamming again. Many Scammers told people to follow them into the wild, and many new players did follow. Then they would be killed, and would lose their items. Whether you like Bounty Hunters and Clan Wars, or not, it has helped stop scamming. So you should start to realize that Jagex isn’t trying to ruin Runescape, they are just trying to make it better.
When The Grand Exchange first came out, many players where excited with this update. Many where glad at the beginning, because no longer did they have to stand in banks for hours trying to sell items or buy items. All they must do is have a click of a button, leave the money or item, and their done. They could do quests, or work on skills while they waited for their items. But soon, some players started to dislike The Grand Exchange. They could no longer do their dirty little tricks and scam people, because people would just go to The Grand Exchange and buy it there. Some players could no longer sell their “pricey” items, because in The Grand Exchange it would be cheaper. There was a time where Rune Armor was well around 180k, but now is way cheaper than that, making buyers happy, but sellers angry. The Grand Exchange soon became a main “hot” spot for buyers and sellers. This made it easier for players, because even if they weren’t at The Grand Exchange they could pick up items that had sold or bought from any bank through out Runescape. Now the question here, was The Grand Exchange worth making? Many would argue, “Of course it was worth making!”, while few would argue, “It has taken away the life of merchants.” While both sides are correct, The Grand Exchange has done more than just helping out players buy or sell their items. The Grand Exchange was the beginning of ending Real World Trading and the life of scammers. The Grand Exchange had prices making it harder for scammers to scam other players into buying, for example, a Muddy Key for 100k-1mil. So, while others may think that The Grand Exchange may have ruined everything, in fact it has not. As soon as The Grand Exchange was released, the next that followed was the new Bounty Hunters, and Clan Wars.
Last was the Trade System. A new trade system came in place, where players could only trade up to a 3k-60k limit, depending upon the number of quest points. Tons of players hate the Trade System, which came out in January 2008. The Trade System became a big deal, because no longer could you lend a friend something, or give out money. Many argued over the Trade System because in fact, it has changed Runescape. Jagex promises they shall change it in the future, but in the mean time the Trade System was set up to stop Real World Trading, and again Scamming. The Trade System also had an earlier update notifying you if the person you where trading with made a change. As this has stopped scamming, Real World Trading was a BIG deal. You would see bots, or autors cutting Yews, mining Coal, fishing Lobsters, etc, and taking up space in the game. It was horrible to be in a F2P (free player) world, and trying to cut Yews then having a bot taking it away. These people would save up whatever they where getting and sell them for Real Money. Many Runescape Sites came out for Real World Trading, where you where most likely scammed. Again, the big question is, was it worth making the trade system? Some would say, “Yes, wouldn’t take it away”, but others might say, “Yes because of Real World Trading, but no because it sucks for the rest of us.” While both are true, the Trade System was something Runescape really needed. No one liked the bots, and no one liked scammers. While some would say “We are suffering for what Real World Trading has done or scamming has done, I still like it, because at least know I’m protected against scammers. Yet I wish the trade system had never existed.”

In the end all these Updates have had many players complaining, but it was well worth the time in making and doing. If you notice you don’t see as much players in F2P, and you can peacefully cut trees, etc, without having so many bots around you doing the same thing with a higher level.
Jagex continues to stop Real World Trading, and Scammers, and we could see more updates we are not happy about. But take into consideration to why they are really doing it for. They are not trying to ruin Runescape, but make it better. So next time a new update comes out that ends something, or helps against Real World Trading, take the time to think about why Jagex has done it, and read what they have to say about it. Then you’ll realize that even though, the update can or might suck, it has helped out Runescape. So even if some players quit Runescape because of the updates, new players will always come along, so no matter what updates Jagex throws at us, Runescape will be around for a long time.

So there are TONS of Runescape money making guides and ways to make money in Runescape. This is just one of them…

This Runescape money making guide is for players who are 70+ only, because you have to kill high level monsters.

So for P2P I would suggest good armor such as Rune, Dragon, Barrows, you know whatever armor you normally use. As for weapons, for melee a Dragon weapon, or whip. If you want to use Magic (MUST HAVE GOOD MAGIC 60+) then use whatever staff you wish. For Range (MUST HAVE GOOD RANGE 60+) then use a magic bow with mith or addy arrows. I must say though that Range and Magic aren’t really suggested, unless you are a high level and are looking to train it up.

For F2P use a Rune weapon and armor. Don’t use addy, because it won’t work. I wouldn’t suggest doing Magic or Range for this. You can use the Crumble Undead spell.

Getting to the point:
You will be killing Ankous in the Stronghold, located in the middle of Barb Village where the rocks to mine at are. You will see a Hole next to some of them in the middle, and click to go down there. If you’ve never been here, you must go through all the levels to do this. Here is a link to help you find this place, or do the mini-game if you haven’t done it: http://runescape.salmoneus.net/security_stronghold.html

So head down there with all your supplies and go all the way down to the 4th level in the Stronghold. When you get the 4th level, please follow these directions carefully! If your P2P you will see people there, but F2P you will see 1 to 2 people, and there may be no one there.

So when you get down there, from the ladder go through the WEST Portal of Death. Then from there go through the NORTH Portal of Death, where you will see level 75 Ankous, and most likely some players.
Few Facts:

If you’re a member and collect Bloods and Death you get about 200 or more a load, but depends on how long you stay down there, and on your combat level.

Good Experience, not the best, since they are level 75’s for a high level player.

In Members you normal have to compete with at least 4 players or more

In Non-Member you normal compete with 1-2 players, sometimes none at all

As a Non-Member you will not make as much money as a member would because of the Blood Runes

Requirements/Armor & Weapon Options:

Must be lvl 70+

Must have armor & weapons

Good Def, Att, & Str

Bring Lobsters or Swordfish as food

Potions are optional

After getting there start killing those Ankous. Now you ask, “How do I make money by killing these?” Well for P2P, they will drop Bloods and Deaths, and other things such as Weapon Posion, Addy Arrows, etc. Your job in P2P is too collect Bloods and Deaths then sell them. We all know Bloods and Deaths are good sellers. For F2P they will drop Laws, Deaths and some other stuff such as Addy Arrows, Mith Ore, etc. Your job is collect Laws and Deaths and sell them.

Also, for both F2P and P2P they will drop stuff that you may want to pick up. Such as the ones listed above. This is what I did. I not only collected the Laws, Bloods, and Deaths, but the weapon posion, addy arrows, mith ore, pure ore, etc. I then later sold all these and I made 400k. This took me about two days since I wasn’t on very often. You too can make a good amount of money, possibly more if you stick to this.

Tested Results for F2P & P2P:
Here were results for a F2P player: Getting around 9K hits experience per hour and was making around 35K an hour. Was there alone, and was getting hit reasonably often as a 95 combat.

Here where the tested results for a P2P player: Getting around 10k hits experience per hour and was making around 45k an hour. Was there with four players and was getting hit a little as a 82 combat with dragon armor.
Results may vary, depending on Armor, Weapon, and Combat.

Increase in the Selling of Runescape Accounts
On the topic of buying Runescape account, I actually wouldn’t be surprised if a number a new sites selling unwanted Runescape accounts start popping up. I mean with so many Runescapers constantly quitting the game, it makes sense that many of them may look to attempt to gain financially from all the hard work they have put into their characters, and I’m sure with new Runescape trade limitations essentially destroying the Runescape gold market that many of the previous Runescape gold buyers may well look to shortcut the whole process and just buy a high level Runescape account that has easy means of making money. So with both an increase in supply and demand for such transactions I wouldn’t be surprised if some Runescape account brokering firms start to emerge, much like the common day real estate agent. Obviously there are some complications with such things, but I think most of the complications could be alleviated if a somewhat “trustworthy” Runescape account broker was to emerge.

Increases In Buying, Selling and Hacking of Runescape Accounts
So many people are talking about how Real World Traders (RWT) traders have been stopped in their tracks by the recent trade restrictions imposed by Jagex, but as much as Jagex have reduced the ability for RWT to sell Runescape gold easily, they still haven’t solved the primary reason players opt to buy Runescape gold. That being that they don’t want to have to grind their way through hours of monotonous gameplay to have enough money to buy their dream items or have the levels they require to perform the quests they want or play the other aspects of Runescape that require high levels. So with that said I think RWT is going to continue to be an issue that affects MMORPG games like Runescape.

Before I go any further I’d just like to point out that Jagex clearly have done probably the best job of all the MMORPGs in eliminating gold selling, and I commend them for what they have done. However, throughout this article I don’t really condemn or support Runescape gold selling, powerleveling services or Runescape account trading because I personally take the view that all these sorts of services are a result of increasing players demands for such things and that in principle where there are demands there generally needs to be reforms and going against strong player demands constantly is rarely a good business strategy in the long run.

It wasn’t so long ago that I was writing about the Runescape Gold Selling Problem and how I thought they could solve it considering there was actual evidence to suggest that despite their best efforts Runescape gold sales were continuing to grow. At the time I suggested that Jagex consider the option of selling gold themselves and profiting from the sales whilst essentially destroying the black market. I definitely didn’t see these recent changes that they were to implement a mere 6 months later. None the less they have achieved their primary objective of significantly reducing RWT.

Increases in Buying Runescape Accounts Ready Made
So whilst I imagine most Runscapers are not willing to give over their Runescape account passwords to powerleveling and gold farming services, I wouldn’t be surprised if there is an increase in the number of people buying Runescape accounts that have already been setup with certain amounts of gold, skills and having completed certain quests. Obviously this will probably a lot more expensive than buying Runescape gold, but I’m sure there will definitely be a market there, especially amongst older players who really don’t have the necessary time to develop their characters. When you consider that many Chinese gold farmers are probably not paid much more than $1 an hour you could probably buy a character with 60 in every stat for around $1,000 I’d assume.

Increases in Runescape Account Hackings
So whilst the ability for players to buy Runescape gold from RWT has been removed, it would seem that a new market has spawned – buying Runescape accounts and Runescape powerleveling services. These styles of services are much better known in the World of Warcraft industry. However I believe that these new style of services where players will be required to give their Runescape account details over to the companies providing the service will result in a number of scam websites offering similar services with the sole intention gaining Runescape account passwords with the intention of hacking Runescape accounts. Please protect your Runescape passwords so your don’t get hacked. Thankfully much has been done in recent times to reduce the effectiveness of Runescape hackers stealing items or an account itself, like bank pins and being unable to make unbalanced trades. Though obviously hiring these new sorts of services still comes at a great risk to an individual’s Runescape account, where as in the past the main risk was the few dollars you spent buying Runescape gold, assuming you are excluding the risk of being banned by Jagex for engaging in such practices.

Well it was only six months ago that I was writing about the consistent upward trend of Runescape Money and Runescape gold sales despite Jagex’s best efforts to shut down Runescape gold sellers. Well Jagex have definitely reversed that trend significantly, and it is quite interesting to see just how much the number of searches for Runescape money and Runescape gold has dropped in the last two months since New Years when the new trading restrictions were brought in. I’m assuming that the downward trend will continue as more and more players realise that the buying Runescape gold indsutry is essentially gone:

Whilst it looks like Jagex have got on top of the Runescape money and gold selling industry, I still think that many real world traders will continue to plague Jagex not in the gols sellign context rather they will look to upscale their service to include poweleveling and selling runescape accounts. What do you think? Please leave your comments below.

Principles of Making Easy Runescape Money on the GE

So the basic principles of Vaskor’s Runescape money making guide are:

You’re looking to trade in items that are traded “moderately” rather than as a commodity so that there is some fluctuation in supply and demand through the day.
You are looking you buy in BULK below the medium price, and sell in BULK above the price you purchased for. Obviously the trades can take quite awhile to complete.
You need to take advantage of all 6 of your trading slots.
Do your research - you need to monitor changes in prices and use your common sense to find bargains.
Sometimes it pays to speculate on the increasing demand for products as a result of game changes. In these instances sometimes it pays to buy at slightly above the medium price and then attempt to sell at the high price on the expectation of growth in demand.
Most of these Runescape money making tips are pretty basic, but with so many things in life, making easy money isn’t about being a rocket scientist, it is just about a little bit of common sense combine with a bit of hard work. Best of luck making your Runescape millions.

Runescape Money Making Guide Using the GE
Vaskor of Reader’s Digest published a wonderful free Runescape money making guide using the Grand Exchange (GE).

So many players left Runescape because they felt that minus the ability to perform unbalanced trades combined with players having access to a very large supply pool via the GE it essentially made Runescape money making from the old way of merchanting impossible, or at least not worth the time. This resigned many players to the fact that the only way you could make good money in Runescape was now to just grind your way through skills like, mining, fishing, fletching, runecrafting etc something many players didn’t enjoy.

I’ll be honest and say that until I read Vaskor’s Runescape money making guide I too was quite resigned to the fact that making easy Runescape money was now virtually impossible, but apparently it’s not, and if anything is now even easier than before because a merchant’s ability to buy and sell is now much faster, thus saving time in regards to off loading your inventory, and doesn’t actually require you to be present for the trade (allowing you to get back to playing Runescape). The only downside is that the margins on many merchantable items is obviously much lower than it used to be, but it is still quite possible to make well over a million gold a day with little effort.
