Well, as you know there are a lot of Runescape Money Making Guides out there, and most of them people are charging money for. I am going to tell you now, do not pay for them. They are just going to tell you the same worn out information that you can get from talking to anyone who has been in Runescape for a while. I have played Runescape for many years, and I know what to do to make money. So here it is, my Free Runescape Money Making Guide.

I have found out an interesting idea about how to make money recently. It will take some time to really make a lot of money with it, and you are going to need money already to be able to do it. It is really just an old idea that has been recycled. Taking an idea and making it better is what I call recycling. This is just the basic buy low and sell high idea, and yet they have taken it and made it better. Here is what you do; first, start buying. Save up the item you are going to sell. You might want to be selling something on the side to make the money to pay for the item you’re planning to sell. Let’s say you are going to sell Swordfish. People usually will want to buy it raw, so try buying from some specialty fish stores. Try to buy when there is a lot of them in stock so that the price is low. You might want to do some world changing before you begin buying, so you know you’re getting a good price. Begin to save your Raw Swordfish in your bank. The longer you hold out before selling the more money you will make. The reason this is true is because people like to buy a lot of them at once, so that they do not have to do a bunch of separate trades, and thus, are willing to pay more. It is even better to sell to Members. A lot of them are higher levels who like their items as soon as possible. If you can stock up at a cheap price and sell at a high bulk price, you will be making a lot of money.

Personally, I would just recommend fishing for the Swordfish yourself. It seems like a lot of work to have to make the money, and then buy Swordfish with it, when you could of just fished it for yourself in half the time. They also mentioned to me that you should get a list of people who are going to want ongoing supplies of the item. You can do this without having to buy and sell, just fish and sell, mine and sell, and so on. If you get an order in for 1000 coal, which is faster, mining it or buying it? In addition, what if you do not have the money to buy the 1000 coal? I believe it is much faster to mine it yourself than to buy it. Runescape-blog.com Sure, its not as easy, but it all evens out. So maybe neither are faster than another. One is easy and one is fast, so who finishes first? I suppose that’s for you to decide.

Whether you buy and sell, or you do it yourself, your still going to make money in the end. So try both and see which one is better for you. Eventually you will work your way up to full Rune Gold Trimmed Amour!

If you’re bored and wondering around Runescape, why not attack that Guard over there? You never know, it might drop a Runescape Clue Scroll. If you have a Clue Scroll, then its time to start your treasure trail. There are three different levels of Treasure Trails, each with a better reward than the last. To get a higher level Clue Scroll you have to kill a higher-level monster. For a level one clue scroll, you will have to kill a monster between the levels of 2 and 48, for level two you will have to kill ones in the range of 21 to 149 and for level three you will need to kill in the levels of 56-304.

There are a couple other ways to get a Runescape Clue Scroll other than killing monsters. One way is with Shade Chests. A Bronze chest would give you a level one clue scroll, the Steel chest hands out level one and two, the Black Chests give level two, and the Silver Chests toss out level threes. You could also pickpocket H.A.M. members to get a level one clue scroll. If you happen into the Zogre Cavern and get a key from one of the monsters, use the key on one of the coffins and you might get a nice level one clue scroll.

Once you have your Clue Scroll, you’re going to have to do various tasks to get your treasure, such as solving Anagrams, doing hard Math problems, and following maps. I am going to help you solve your Clue Scroll. Lets start with the Math Problems.

» How many people are waiting for the next Bard to perform? 4
» How many buildings are there in the village? 11
» How many houses have a cross on the door? 20
» How many banana trees are there in the plantation? 33
» How many cannons does Lumbridge Castle have? 9
» How many fishermen are there on the fishing platform? 11
» How many animals in the Zoo? 40 or 41.
» How many pigeon cages are there around the back of Jerico’s house? 3
» How many flowers are there in the clearing below this platform? 13
» How many gnomes on the Gnome ball field have red patches on their uniforms? 6
» How many bookcases are there in the palace library? 24

What is 5 times 5 add 3? 28
What is 19 to the power of 3? 6859
What is 57×89+23? 5096
If x is 15 and y is 3, what is 3x + y? 48

I have 16 kebabs; I eat one myself and share the rest equally between 3 friends
How many do they have each? 5

Now onto the Anagrams.

Aaah! Monsters! Make that Runescape Monsters. Yes, these crazy NPCs whose levels range anywhere from level 1 to level 702, and everywhere in-between. Not to mentions, that Jagex is always making new ones! So what are they good for? They can be useful in many ways. The most popular use is training. Players will sharpen their swords, charge up their staffs, and tighten up their bow strings to go out and slaughter tons of Runescape Monsters a day.

When the Monsters die, they will sometimes drop items. These items will become better and better according to the level of the monster that died. Greater Demons, level 92, have brilliant drops on rare occasions. They are known to drop items such as, a Rune Scimitar, Rune spear, Dragon Spear, Clue scroll level 3, and a lot of others. Of course, some of these items are Members Only. (Pay to Play.)

The Iron Dragon, level 189, will have a lot better drops, such as Dragon Platelegs, Dragon Med Helm, Dragon Plateskirt, and so on. Note: As with all dragons, you will want to wear an Anti-dragon fire shield. The best way to kill it is using Magic.

There are hundreds of different Runescape Monsters. The monsters are sometimes used in Quests. You will have to kill them, find them, talk to them, the possibilities are endless. Sometimes Jagex will use the Monsters in different holiday celebrations. For instance, on Easter, there are usually a lot of rabbits hopping about.

To be able to kill certain types of Runescape Monsters you will have to use your Slayer skill. This will give you access to all the different Monsters in Runescape, and at the same time it will give you loads of experience. If you have level 85 Slayer, you will have access to the Abyssal Demon. This beast can drop Abyssal Whips, which are worth 1.5 million gold in the market. (Note: do not under any circumstances sell an Abyssal whip to a store or alch it. You will only get 48,000 gold for low alch or general store, and 72,000 gold for a high alch or specialty store.) Therefore, as you can see, the Slayer skill can really pay off if you train it up.

There is a really fun place to train if you are a member. It is called Pest Control. It is a Minigame that is filled with Runescape Monsters. You can train there without having to worry about dieing and loosing all your good items. When you kill a monster, you get some points, when you have enough you will go into the “green” which means you will get some tickets. The more points you have the more tickets you get. You can use these tickets to buy things from the shop. This minigame can be found at the Void Knight’s Outpost. You can get there by taking a boat that is docked at the Port Sarim docks.

Runescape Monsters are all over Runescape. From the very bottom of the Kharidian Desert, to the very top of Miscellania, and over to the Feldip Hills. Runescape Monsters are everywhere! So the next time you happen upon a rock, look again, it might be a Rock Crab, or if you think you saw that Gargoyle move, it probably d

Runescape Power Leveling Tips

   Posted by: admin    in Runescape Skill Guilds

Runescape Power Leveling can mean two different things. A Google search will find all kinds of sites with that will train your account for you. This breaks rule 6, but several people still do it. The majority of these sites are just after your password. They will charge you a certain price in real money, and then they get your account password. This is as risky as it can get. Most of these sites will offer “Live Help Agents” that you can talk with to help you with your “orders”. They will just reassure you it doesn’t break any rules and convince you to pay them money.

The other meaning to Runescape Power Leveling is when someone continuously trains and gets a load of levels. Therefore, if you hear someone say, “I am going to do some power leveling” now you know what it means. I am going to give you some training tips, because I would rather help you level yourself, than use the above method. When I find those kinds of sites, I report them to Jagex. They sell more than just levels; they will also sell gold and items. Although Jagex has put a trade limit on, they have found a way around it.

The best place to train in my opinion is the Stronghold of Security. Located right in the middle of Barbarian Village. There is a hole in the ground around where people are always mining. If you right click it, it will say Climb down Entrance. This Entrance is the entrance to the Stronghold of Security.

Goblins are excellent for low and high levels. They are easy to kill and give a nice amount of exp. Remember; you want quick and easy kills that give fair experience points, instead of slower kills and more experience. The reason is, with fast kills you can double and triple the experience in the time it takes to kill the higher level. Goblins are perfect for this. They are dead in about two to three hits and then you can be on to the next one.

The Stronghold of Security can be very fun, especially if you have not done it before. At the end of each level, there are rewards. For just the first level, you get 3,000 gold! The prizes just go up from there. If you are power leveling, no matter where, you are most likely going to need food. I highly recommend Tuna. They do not cost too much cooked and they heal about 10 points each. Carry around some Tuna, and it might save your life.

Runescape can be hard at times, but never resort to cheating. Cheaters never win, remember that. The only thing cheaters get is a nice ban. Alternatively, maybe not so nice, Haha. Runescape bans accounts for cheating daily. If you find a cheating website then I would suggest sending the link to Jagex. If we can get rid of the cheating, then Runescape will be a much better place where hard work is rewarding. Jagex cannot do it on their own; they need the help and support of their players. If you catch someone cheating, report him or her

Runescape Moparscape Servers

   Posted by: admin    in Runescape Help, Runescape News

Moparscape is an illegal alternative to Runescape. Players will use this because they do not have to worry about breaking rules. Sometimes they will play on these because their account is banned on the real Runescape. Moparscape is illegal because they have stolen Runescape’s code, and created copies. They are all out dated now, due to the Runescape High Definition update. I am sure Jagex is hoping to bring their members back with this update.

Most of these copies of Runescape will have edited codes, so you will be able to do insane things, such as walking through walls. They will usually have a faster rate of experience points, easier levels, cheap weapons, and so on. This is useful for a lot of thieves, because they can take pictures of their players with dragon on in Moparscape and claim them to be real, and then try to sell them to people. Which breaks rule 6, no account sharing or trading. This is a great rule; it protects a lot of members from buying stolen accounts, and loosing their accounts to the ones they share to.

Another term for these hacked versions of Runescape is Runescape Private Servers. Keep in mind that no matter what they say, these are not linked with the real Runescape in any way. Jagex is suing the makers of every copy they find, but there are thousands, and a lot of them are not online all the time, as they are ran off of someone’s computer. Jagex wants these gone for many reasons, one being that a lot of these so called “Moparscape Downloads” are really just keyloggers.

Keyloggers are a type of computer virus that will “log” they keys you type and send them to the creator. Therefore, if you were to get one and type your Runescape username and password, they would instantly have it, and be able to hack your account. These are very dangerous, as they can get things like your credit card information. It really is not worth the effort of going out and risking getting a virus, just to use an illegal program. If you still think it is worth the risk, a simple Google search will do the trick.

So why are these illegal copies so full of people? Perhaps because they can have all the things they cannot in the real Runescape. So basically, Moparscape is for lazy people who wont work in the real Runescape. Think about it, level 126 with all stats 99, is it any fun? Sure, you will have a few minutes enjoying doing things, but everything is already maxed out! You cannot go PKing, because everyone else is the exactly the same. There is no point in getting money, because all the items are already there! In these copies, there is no point in playing. Personally, I have never even been on a Moparscape server, because to me, it looked boring. Why would I want to go to an illegal rip off of Runescape to have everything, when I can get it from hard work in the real thing? Its not like you can show off to noobs there, because everyone has the exact same thing. How to make moparscape servers?

Moparscape can seem interesting and exiting, but it is not. Of course, the original Runescape is the best.

Best Runescape Range Weapons

   Posted by: admin    in Runescape Weapons Guide

There are many different types of Runescape Range Weapons, from bows and arrows to throwing axes to crossbows. I personally do not think there is really a “best” weapon, but rather a weapon that is best for a person.

Over the years, I have heard numerous arguments over which weapons were the best. If they would stop looking at the over all best, which is impossible to call a weapon, they would be in much better shape. Let me explain. Say you have a new person just starting out; they have trained their range to level 5. You give them an Oak Bow and some steel arrows, and then to them, the Oak Bow is the best weapon. You can apply this is any weapon. So the next time you are in an argument over which is better, use what I just said. You will win the argument for sure, ha-ha.

In my opinion, the best type of Bow is the Crystal Bow. It is 80% more accurate than a Magic Longbow, it hit higher than Rune Arrows, and it does not use any arrows! This will save you a lot of money. The down side to this one is it does not have a special attack.

If I were going to pick the best Throwing Axe, I would have to say Rune. They have a special attack that will allow you to attack many monsters at once in a multi-combat zone.

As for the best Crossbow, I would have to say the Rune Crossbow, It does not have a specialty like the Dorgeshunn Crossbow does, but as it requires level 61 range, I would have to believe it hits better.

But again, these are my choices; they can be different for anyone. Here is another idea for you. Let’s say that you have to do a quest. This quest requires a certain type of Throwing Axes. In this case, we will say that they are Bronze. So then, wouldn’t Bronze Throwing Axes be the Best Runescape Range Weapons for that quest? I believe they would be.

I was listening to a player, he told me his top 5 Runescape Range Weapons. I will tell them to you.

5. Magic Shortbow because it can hit quite big with a high range level, it is also very cheap.

4. Karils Crossbow because it is very fast, it can hit big, and its not to expensive.

3. Crystal Bow because it can hit hard and fast, but it is only 3rd because it requires a quest and it can get very expensive.

2. Dark Bow because its special can be incredibly powerful, sadly it is slow and very expensive.

1. Rune Crossbow because the bolts can hit 50+, it is cheap, and average in speed. In addition to those, you can also wield a shield.

It is fun to hear what players think are the best, because each person will give you a different conclusion.

There are many different ways to rate the “best” weapons, but there is no way to call one the over all best. If you have your own opinion on what is the best, feel free to share them. Who knows what works for you might work for someone else as well?

To do well in melee you are going to need good Strength levels. These levels can be obtained by using the Aggressive attack style while training. There are also many different ways to temporarily boost your Strength.

If you are going to train to get your levels, I would suggest killing goblins. They are quick to kill and give a fair amount of experience points. It is always better to kill something fast and get smaller exp. than take longer to kill something and get more.

Let’s say that I go kill a goblin, it will take about 2 to 3 hits and its dead, and I will get around 40 experience. It only takes about 2 seconds, then I am on to another, and it keeps going on and on getting 40 exp. per kill.

Now say I go kill a Minotaur. It takes me 7 hits and I get 50 experience points. That’s only 10 more than a goblin, and it takes way longer. I could kill 3 goblins in the time it takes to kill 1 Minotaur!

You can also get Strength experience points in quests. These quests include;

» Scorpion Catcher = 6,625 strength xp
» Heroes Quest = 3,075 strength xp
» Tai Bwo Wannai Trio = 2,500 strength xp
» Haunted Mine = 22,000 strength xp
» In Search of the Myreque = 600 strength xp
» Dragon Slayer = 18,650 strength xp
» Roving Elves = 10,000 strength xp
» Troll Romance = 4,000 strength xp
» In Aid of the Myreque = 2,000 strength xp
» Monkey Madness = 20,000 or 35,000 strength xp
» Waterfall Quest = 13,750 strength xp
» The Fremennik Trials = 2,812 strength xp

There are also various ways to give quick boosts to your Strength; this is very useful if you are suddenly attacked. One way is through the Prayer skill. There are three different prayers that will boost your Strength; these are the Burst of Strength, Superhuman Strength, and Ultimate Strength. Each give a certain percentage boost, ranging from 5 to 15.

Another way is drinking Potions. The most commonly known potion is the Strength Potion. This will boost your Strength anywhere from 3 to 12 levels. Then there is the Super Strength Potion which will boost anywhere from 5 to 19! The Zamorak Potion is one of the lesser known potions, it will give a boost anywhere from 3 to 11.

You can also drink Beer to increase your strength, but it will take away from your attack. A normal glass gives a boost of 4, and takes 8 attack away. If you were to drink a Keg of Beer, you would have an increase of 7 in strength, but with a great decrease of attack.

You can also get bonuses by what sort of sword and armor you wear. For instance, if you were to wear Rune Gloves, you would get a bonus of +8. A Dragon Two-Handed Sword will give you a bonus of +93!

If you were to wear a Dragon Longsword, a Berserker Necklace, a Fire Cape, Barrows Gloves, Rune Boots, an Obsidian Shield, the Helm of Neitiznot, and the Bandos Chestplate, besides looking completely ridiculous you would have a total strength bonus of +108! There are many not so crazy looking ways to boost your Strength Stat, this was just an example.

Many times when people search for a Runescape Stat Trainer, they are looking for some sort of cheat that will do the work for them. Although these cheats do exist, they are easy to find and Jagex bans thousands of accounts a month for using them. Sometimes people want others to do the work for them, so they will pay so much per exp, and have their accounts trained by someone else. Most of the time, the people who train these accounts use the cheats to do it and then the accounts are banned. The best way to train your stats is to just do it yourself. Think about it, you wont be cheating, you wont risk loosing your account to a ban or a “stat trainer” that can steal your account, and most of all, you did it yourself so you have that feeling of accomplishment.

If you let others do the work for you or you use a program to cheat at it, then you loose the true fun of the game. Think about if everyone cheated at Runescape, would it be any fun anymore? No, it would not be, because you would have all your stats to 99, all the items you ever wanted, sure, this seems nice, but so would everyone else in Runescape. So there would be no Player Killing because you would not be able to kill each other, it would just be a never-ending battle. Training your stats without cheating is half the fun of Runescape.

Here are some tips to help you train your stats;

1. If you are after a certain level, do not do anything else in Runescape before you have it. If you stop training it might be a month before you start again.

2. Stay positive. If you know you can do it, then you will. Negativity will only slow you down.

3. Break up your goal into several smaller ones. Such as, if you are wanting level 60 attack and you are level 50 attack, and then break it down to every 2 levels, with breaks in between. It can take a little longer like this, but at least you wont be sitting there bored.

4. Never give up. If you give up you will never reach your goal.

Sure, most of those are just common knowledge, but if you follow them then you will go far. Remember, if you really want it, you should work twice as hard to get it.

Training it yourself is a lot harder than paying someone to do it or cheating, but you will feel a lot better after it is all done if you did it yourself. If you let someone train your stats to 99, sure you will be jumping around for a little while, but if you trained it yourself, there is no comparison. When you look at the stat and know you did that all by yourself, it is a lot better than looking at it and knowing you cheated to get it. If that is not enough to convince you, think of it like this.

Let’s say you pay someone a lot of money to get you to level 100. They tell you it will take one week and to not log on until then. Therefore, a week passes and you are all exited to log in and see your level is 100, and then you receive a message that the username or password is wrong. Then you lost your account AND your money. You cannot trust ANYONE with your Runescape password.

There are thousands of Runescape Clans out there. About 40% of them are not equipped with a website and usually fail. Around 58% of them will have websites and will most likely have requirements to join, but they will not fail. The remaining 2% of them are secret clans that only few will even know exist. Usually these secret clans will be hard to find, as they try their best to keep it that way.

Clans are usually made for PKing, some for Pest Control, Castle Wars, and Duel Arena, so on so forth. The 40% are made by new people who want to be strong and get rich by PKing. The 58% will be more wise about it, and they will hold clan meetings, training events, and such. The secret clans do not usually care about fighting; they will set up some sort of business to make money, such as fishing. It is very smart of them, as if they get a good income, they can then afford to buy people armor and such. It is a very small percentage that does this, and even less percentage that actually make it. If you are planning to make a clan, whether it be secret or not, always keep your eyes on the prize.

Let me give you some tips to make a clan;

1. Get a website. You can get free websites from many different places; I would also suggest getting a forum. This way you can stay in contact with all of your members.

2. Recruit. If you do not actively get new members, your clan is going to fail. If I were you, after I had a few members, I would elect some recruiters. Their job would be to get new people into the clan. I would also elect a trainer for each combat skill (Meelee, Range, and Mage.) to help out the new recruits. Their job would be to take the new people out and show them places to train, and make sure their skills are up to par.

3. Find a meeting place. If you are a member, buy a house and build it up. If you are not a member, find an empty building. They can be anywhere, but I would get one that is out of the way so there is not a lot of traffic.

4. Make a clan chat. This is a very great way of keeping in touch in the game, especially if you are going to split up in the wilderness. (Not the best idea.)

5. Have SOME sort of income. If you are going to have a large army, you are going to need weapons and armor. So have some sort of income to pay for it. Especially when you have people who need rune. (PKing counts as income.)

Clans can be very fun, but at the same time a lot of work. It is better to have some others to help run the clan. It can be a great way to make money, if you stick to it. Remember, keep your eyes on the prize.

If you really work at it, and get a load of members, you can become one of the best. It is Runescape, anything is possible!

Improving your skills in Runescape

   Posted by: admin    in Runescape Skill Guilds

I have heard a new way of classifying your skills in Runescape. Which I have taken and improved. There are many different ideas on Runescape, some are useful but everyone knows, then there are some less known that are not very useful. I love to listen to people and their ideas. You never know when someone is going to stumble upon something brilliant.

I was told recently to put your skills into two sections. The first group consists of skills that you have to level up on your own; you cannot buy anything to help raise the levels. The second one, you can buy things to help raise the level. Let me begin by making the lists:

Section 1 consists of:

» Slayer
» Strength
» Thieving
» Agility
» Fishing
» Hunter
» Attack
» Mining
» Hitpoints
» Woodcutting
» Defense

Section 2 consists of:

» Smithing
» Runecrafting
» Fletching
» Construction
» Prayer
» Firemaking
» Farming
» Herblore
» Farming
» Ranging
» Crafting
» Magic
» Cooking

These are not complete lists, but it will give you a good idea. The first group you cannot buy things to help you level, and the second group you can. Such as, if you bought 200 raw lobsters and cooked them, then you would have bought something to help you level your cooking.

For Smithing, you can buy various ores and smelt them into bars, or you can buy the bars and make them into weapons and armor. To make these bars, you are going to need to know what type of ore to buy.

Bronze = 1 Copper Ore 1 Tin Ore
Iron = 1 Iron ore
Silver = Silver Ore
Steel = 1 Iron Ore 2 Coal
Gold = Gold ore
Mithril = 1 Mithril Ore 4 Coal
Adamantite = 1 Adamantite Ore 6 coal
Rune = 1 Runite Ore 8 Coal

It is easier to buy your materials than have to get them yourself. Then you can improve your skills on Runescape a lot faster. Here is how you can tell which group to classify a skill into -

Does it need materials to level up? If the answer is yes, then it goes into section 2. Although the higher level you go the more expensive it gets, if you truly want to get that level, you will pay the price. This can also be good for people who want to make money. Stock up on the items that are needed. Then when people come after them, you can pocket the money.

There are thousands of ideas and thoughts on Runescape. Especially about combat and how to improve your skills. As I said, I love to learn new ways and test them. Usually I will put my own little twist onto it and make it better, but sometimes I will come across a technique that is perfect. If you have your own way of doing things, feel free to share it in the comments below.

Improving your skills in Runescape will help you advance so you can gain levels and enjoy the benefits that accompany being a higher level. Try different things to see how fast you can improve your skills. Who knows, you might have the best way ever of improving skills!
