runescape stat changer

Posted by: admin    in Runescape cheat, hack, bot, auto Download

Ah yes, the good old legend of a Runescape stats changer. Before I say any more about this subject, I’m going to make this very very clear. There are NO Runescape Stat Changers. There might have been a very long time ago, but even if there was, there isn’t any now.

The idea of a stat changer can seem quite exiting, and yes, they do exist in other games. Runescape is ran off of a website, and not downloaded to your computer. Most games that do have hacks are downloadable games with a big folder full of files that people can “hack” into and change the values of the numbers. Runescape does not download files to your computer; they are all uploaded onto a server and then downloaded to the page that you play it on. Some games you can use an “injector” to hack into. This might actually work in the game of Runescape, if someone could crack through Jagex’s defenses. Even then, the hack would only last awhile if someone let it out in the public. Then Jagex would do an update and seal up the crack.

I have actually found programs that people claimed you could change the values in Runescape, but of course, I never tried. I do not like cheating; I think that it defeats the purpose of the game. If everyone cheated and had everything in the game, why play? It would just be boring.

Some sites will claim to sell a Runescape stats changer. Usually they cost about 20.00 USD and I highly doubt they work. Even if they did, Jagex would have fixed it a long time ago. These programs do not exist anywhere. Your best shot at getting one would find some secret organization that has built one and did not released it. What are the odds of finding that, one in a million? If you’re going to pay 20.00 USD for Runescape, use it to get a membership. Don’t get scammed out of your money.

Basically, what a stat changer does is it shoots a “worm” into your computer and this worm searches out the files that the game runs on. When it finds them, it searches out the data it needs to make the changes, and then makes copies of the values. Once it has all of the data it needs, it changes the code in the copies, and then replaces its files with the normal ones.

Stat changers can change more than just your stats; they can also change your money, items, and sometimes even your health so that it never goes down. Stat changers sometimes can also go in, find your account information, credit card details, and other personal data, and then email it to someone else who will use it. Now although this is illegal, people still do it. As I have said time and time again, no matter how great the hack seems the consequences are usually a lot worse.

If you were to Google the words Runescape stats changer, you would come across web pages, forums, and other places where people say things like “email your name and password to blah and I will use the stat changer on it.” or “because it wont let me leave a link to the download simply put your username and password here and I will enter it in my application and then you will have 99 stats in everything.” Yes, these are scams as usual.

Now that you know a little more about what a stat changer is, you can see why a Runescape stats changer cannot exist. Maybe some day in the future there will be one for a week or two, but Jagex keeps a good security system, and to hack Runescape would take a lot of work. Is it worth all the effort? Of course not! Happy playing, and remember, Runescape stats changer do NOT exist!

Teleporting to Your House

If you have level 40 Magic, you can cast the Teleport to House spell to be teleported directly to your house. This spell requires 1 Law, 1 Earth, and 1 Air Rune to cast.

“House Options” Menu

In Your Player Controls menu, you will see an option called “House Options.”
When you click on the menu button, you’ll see a new menu, allowing you to do several things with your house:
First, you have the building mode options, which allow you to toggle between building mode and regular mode. So, you can build your house in building mode, and then switch to normal mode to see what it will look like to your visitors.

Next, you have the option of expelling your guests, which means that you can kick everyone out if you want. This is particularly useful if you’re throwing a wild party while your parents are out of town, but they come home early (can you really have parents in RuneScape?)!

And last, you can leave your house.

House Access

If you don’t want others in your house, it’s fairly simple to keep them out. There are actually 2 ways to accomplish this:

By locking your portal.
By using your Friends List
Locking Your Portal:

This is pretty easy to do. While you’re inside your house area, right-click on your portal and select the “Lock Portal” option. This will prevent anyone from entering your house. Later on, you can select the “Unlock Portal” option to allow people to access it again.
Using Your Friends List:

This is a cool feature of Player Owned Houses too. If you have your friends list set to “On,” anyone can access your house. If you have it set to “Friends,” only people on your list can enter your house. And if you have it set to “Off,” no one can enter your house (this is just like locking your portal).

runescape mining list

Posted by: admin    in Runescape Discussion & Wiki

Runescape is a Massively Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) according to its own blurb. Here is the latest advice on making money by mining in the runescape landscape:
Get your character’s mining level up to level 38 by mining iron, etc. Then, go to the Barbarian Village and mine coal from the rocks, which you can sell for 100 to 300 runescape gold per piece. You will also occasionally find a gem (from least valuable to most, sapphire, emerald, ruby, diamond) which can be sold for good prices. Once you are at level 40 mining, add a person named yodoo86 to your list. He always buys coal. Mine coal and sell to him for 100 runescape money. Get your smithing and mining levels up to 40 and mine gold in the Lessers Pits on Karajama Island. However, be careful of the level 21 skeletons. There are five rocks, so on a good night when no one is on, you can hit them in a row making your trip very easy. You can usually get 25 gold ore that becomes 25 runescape gold bars. Put them into certs and sell for 1k a gold cert.
Lest you think mining is the least desireable way to make money in this world, here are some aternatives to make money:

Go to Chaos Temple. Kill monks and take the Steel Maces. Sell them to the Mace Store in Falador for 138 runescape money. Do this repeatedly to get levels and money quickly. Go to Varock. Kill the level 21 guards there to get skill levels and up to 30 runescape gold.
Ah well, this is probably a faster way to make money than working for a Canadian mining company — see salary survey below.

Are you a non-member? Are you poor? Just want to get some cash? Then Read this!

This guide will not need many requirements so you can do this at just about any level or if you are rich/poor.

This guide is divided into different sections they are:

0gp- 100k 100-200k 200K-500k

0gp- 100K

Method 1

Required:

To have completed Rune Mysteries Quest it’s a veeery easy quest, should be done in about 20mins.
15 mining (also quite easy to get if you powermine. Powermining is when you mine and drop ores instead of banking them.

Go to Varrock (look on the world map if you don’t know where it is). Go to the Rune shop in Varrock while wielding a pickaxe or having a pickaxe in your inventory. Right- click Albury and click “teleport”. You will be teleported to a snowy place, and walk around until you see a place where you can mine rune essence. Keep mining the essence and when you have a full inventory of rune essence, go through the portal and you will be teleported back to Varrock. The bank is just in front of the rune shop so it is quite convenient . Deposit your rune essences into your bank and repeat mining rune essence. Once you’ve got a reasonable amount of rune essence, go to the grand exchange (look on the world map if you don’t know where it is) and sell your rune essence for 40-48gp ea!

Method 2

Required:

A pickaxe that you can use

Go to the south-west Varrock mine and mine the clay rocks there. Keep mining until you have a full inventory and then go into Varrock to bank the clay. Keep repeating this and collect 1,000 clay pieces, go to the grand exchange and sell them for the minimum price which would be 100gp! (because if you sold it for market price or max, no one would buy them). 1,000 clay would add up to exactly 100K!.

Method 3

Required:

A high enough combat level to kill cows (level 2)

Go to the windmill in Lumbridge and go straight up from there. You should see lots of cows prowling around. Make sure your inventory is empty and you have your good weapon and armor. Kill those cows collect ONLY the cowhides!when you’ve got a full inventory, go to the gnomecopters and there’s a deposit box where you can deposit your cowhides. The deposit box can only deposit things so if you accidentally deposit something you need, you will need to go to a proper bank to withdraw the item. Keep killing the cows and collecting the cowhides until you think you’ve got enough. When you got enough, travel to Varrock and sell them on the Grand Exchange for 90-100

coins each!

100k-200k

Now we’re going to double the money you’ve got!

Method 1

Required:

100K or more

Go to Lumbridge and go to a chicken farm on a world which has lots of people. You will see a lot of new people killing chickens. Bring all the money you’ve got and say “Buying feathers 5gp each!” these new people don’t know the true price of feathers and will sell you feathers for a bargain.
Now when you have used most of your money, go sell them at the grand exchange for 8-10gp each. This will probably double your money.

Method 2

Required

100K or more

Go to the Grand Exchange and buy 1000 chocolate bars and buy a knife from the general store for 1 coin. Go to a bank and withdraw a full inventory of chocolate bars and one knife. Use the knife with the chocolate bar which turns the chocolate bar into chocolate dust. Keep on doing this until you’ve made all your chocolate bars into chocolate dust and then sell them for minimum-market price. If you sell them on minimum, it would most likely be quickly sold and you could the market price for it! This method may take a while, but you do not need any skills to do.

200K-500K

Well, you’re starting to make big bucks now!

Go the Grand Exchange and Buy as many vials as you can. VERY IMPORTANT NOTE!- Buy vials, not vials of water or anything else! Ok, once you’ve got your the vials go to the Falador bank (the one near the barber). Withdraw 28 vials from your bank and run/walk to the pump and click on a vial (any vial) in your inventory and click on the water pump. This will give you an option on the bottom of the screen asking how many vials you want to fill. Right-click the vial of water and click “All”. You character will keep filling the vials and turning them into vials of water. Go back to the bank and deposit the vials of water. Repeat until you’ve filled all your vials. Go back the grand exchange and sell them for a good profit.

Well thats all I know, follow these tips and you can get a good amount of money to spend or if you’re going to be a member, this is a good guide to get the money you need to enjoy a large benefit in members worlds.

runescape treasure trail worldmap

Posted by: admin    in Runescape Help, Runescape News

Runescape Treasure Trails

Treasure trails are one of the biggest adventures in Runescape. You never know what kind of treasure awaits you, or when you’ll actually retrieve it. Runescape treasure trails are for members only but some of the rewards can be used / worn by both free players and members. A Runescape treasure trail is as basic as it sounds; a treasure hunt. To start a Treasure Trail you must first get a clue scroll.

Clue Scrolls

Clue scrolls are dropped by certain monsters within the game. There are three different levels of clue scrolls, the higher the level, the greater the reward. There are more ways to get clue scrolls. Some are not as hard to gain as fighting monsters. You may not even have to fight at all to gain a clue scroll. You can get a level 1 clue scroll by pick pocketing H.A.M members. Thieving coffins in the Zogre Cavern can also retrieve a level one clue scroll.

Runescape Treasure Trail Rewards

There is a great variety of items you can gain by completing a clue scroll. Some are valuable items, such as 3rd age melee armor. Some not so valuable items include a fire battlestaff. Runescape treasure trail rewards can only be obtained by completing a clue scroll, or some items can be bought from other players. This is how it is possible for free players to obtain some of these items.

Using Treasure Trail Clue Scrolls

Once you get a clue scroll, read it! This is the first step to finding your treasure. There are different types of clue scroll such as anagrams, maps, emotes, and so on. Anagrams will require you to unscramble the letters and then find that person and speak to them. Maps give you a piece of the world map with an ‘X’ in a certain place. You have to dig on the ‘X’ to get a casket which has your next clue or reward inside. Emote clues require you to be wearing certain armor/hats/boots, etc and then perform the emote in the given place. You will have to work out which place you need to go to though. Example: ‘Panic in the heart of the Haunted Woods. Beware of double agents! Have no items equipped when you do.’ The haunted woods is the woods East of Canafis and the emote you have to perform is ‘Panic.’ It’s as easy as that.

FAQs about Runescape Treasure Trails

Question: I’m digging where I’ve been told but I’m not getting anything, what do I do?
Answer: Make sure you have your clue, a sextant, a watch and a chart in your inventory. If they are in your bank or you do not have them at all you will not be able to find anything. If you never received a sextant, watch and chart, go see the Professor in the house North of the Observatory which is situated Southwest of Ardougne, he will tell you how to receive a sextant and he himself will give you a watch and navigation chart.

Question: I’ve killed so many monsters and I still haven’t gotten a clue scroll, what do I do?
Answer: If you already have one then you will not be able to get another, check carefully through your bank to see if there is one there. If you don’t have one then make sure the monsters your killing do actually drop clue scrolls.

Question: If I drop my clue will I be able to get another?
Answer: Yes, as long as you have no clue you can always get another.

Question: Can I buy sextants, charts or watches from other players?
Answer: No, you have to gain them yourself, its all part of the fun!

Question: What happens if I get killed whilst doing my clue scroll?
Answer: You do risk losing your clue scroll. Make sure when you set off on a clue scroll that your clue is in the top three items, this means it gets kept if you die.

Question: I’ve dropped my clue scroll, can other players take it?
Answer: No, other players will not be able to see your clue scroll. Clue scrolls are a players personal prize, don’t worry about other people being able to get them.

Runescape Money Cheats: About Easy & Free Runescape Money Hacks for Runescape 2

So what€™s this article all about, well the title sort of covers it; it€™s the truth about free and easy runescape money hacks for Runescape 2. It never ceases to amaze me what lengths players are willing to go to get free, easy Runescape money, aside of course from playing the game. Every day hundreds of people search for free Runescape money cheats which give them access to unlimited or infinite amounts of Runescape money. The sad reality is there are no Runescape money cheats out there that will change the amount of money you have in your Runescape account or give you access to unlimited free Runescape money. The only way to make Runescape money is by playing the game. What€™s even worse is those that are searching for such Runescape money cheats and hacks for Runescape are often only directed to malicious sites own by Runescape hackers whose sole objective is to exploit your desire to gain easy Runescape money and turn it against you by installing malicious spyware on your computer to hack your Runescape account and take what little money you have.

Free Runescape Money Cheats, Exploits and Hacks

Now there is always lots of talk about their being exploits in Runescape that people can use to hack into Runescape to make adjustments, and in the past yes there have been minor ones, but these Runescape exploits are extremely temporary and definitely not permanent features of Runescape with the Jagex staff constantly patching such glitches. Not to mention such hacking attempts have never been as exploitable to the point that people were able to change the amount of money they had or give themselves unlimited amounts of money, rather were more along the lines of being able to duplicate expensive items that they could then sell, like party hats. Now if you€™d like to take advantage of the exploits in Runescape the reality is unless you€™re the person to actually find the exploit yourself chances are you have missed the boat because as Jagex gets wind of them they are already fixing them, and if anyone on a website or forum is explaining to you that they know a free Runescape money hack and all they need you to do is email them your account name and password, rest assured they are just a runescape hacker trying to make you their next sucker with the old €œI know a free Runescape money hack that can give you unlimited money€ routine.

Runescape Cheats & Hacks for Runescape 2

Another big thing is people installing macros or auto that they use to do various tasks on Runescape that earns them money. It€™s cheating but not really a runescape cheat that hacks the game, rather just plays it for you. Now it may have been true back in the Runescape Classic days that getting away with cheating, when it came to Runescape macros and autos, was reasonably possible, but with the coming of what is called Runescape 2 these means of cheats have quickly become obsolete with Jagex introducing many means of detection of the use of such programs in conjunction with Runescape 2.

Free Runescape Money Making Guides and Tips

So whilst there may be no free Runescape money cheats or easy and reliable ways of making Runescape money outside of Runescape itself, there certainly are a lot of ways you can make good Runescape money without resorting to Runescape cheats and hacks. It€™s called playing the game and playing it well. Unfortuantely like in life there is no such things as easy Runescape money. Again like life you have to either work hard or work smart for it, but in all honesty there are loads of great quality websites out there with Runescape money making tips and ‘how to’ guides that will have you on your way to making well over 100-200k an hour with a bit of persistence. So what are you going to have to pay for all this great information; nothing; it€™s absolutely free and won€™t cost you a cent and you don€™t need to download some malicious program to make the money. So the moral of the story, find good information resources like Runescapegold.wordpress.com and don€™t look for the supposed quick and easy Runescape money cheat or hack, because there is no such thing as easy runescape money or runescape money hacks.

Runescape F2P Strength Pure Guide

Posted by: admin    in Runescape Discussion & Wiki

guide to F2P strength pures in Runescape.
Rush through tutorial island, don’t bother getting 3 strength and attack, it’s much quicker to get it on the mainland.

As soon as you get into Lumbridge head to the chicken coop, slightly north and train attack to 5, collect the feathers but DO NOT bury any bones; you could do without the extra combat levels. Once you have 5 attack head to Zeke’s scimitar shop in Al-Kharid and buy a steel scimitar for around 400-500gp. Scimitar’s are going to be your new best friend, as they mix strength and speed brilliantly.

Now that you have your scimmy head back to Lumbridge and start slaughtering them cows until 20 attack and strength, collect their hides and beef, hides are worth about 100gp each and beef is a simple way to raise your cooking, which is pretty handy in the long run.

I recommend you buy a mithril scimitar now and complete the “Vampire Slayer” quest, as it gives a sweet 4.8k attack experience! I suggest you take some decent food when attempting to kill the level 34 Vampire, and don’t forget your hammer, stake and garlic!

Now, your off to the Monastery, west of Edgeville, to begin the long, tedious training with monks all the way up to level 40 attack and strength… Once you get there, you’ll need about 25k. Personally I recommend air running on world 16, it’s quick and simple, check out the thread on the Official Runescape Forums for more information. Once you’ve got the money you can finally buy that rune scimitar!

Enjoying your rune scimmy? Well, don’t get too excited, as you’ve still got a lot of training to go. Flesh Crawlers on the second floor of the Stronghold Of Security are good from now until all the way up to level 60 strength and beyond, as they yield 100xp per kill.

Now you’re ready to head into the savage place most call the wilderness…Get a couple of hundred lobbies, a few strength potion some armour and a strength amulet. But be wary, there are many players out to get you, but, with experience, you’ll be pawning them in no time!

So in short, this is what you’ll be training on:
1-5 attack - Chickens (Buy Steel Scimmy)
5-20 attack, 1-20 strength - Cows (Buy Mithril Scimmy), (Complete Vampire Slayer)
20-40 attack & strength - Monks (Buy Rune Scimmy), (Stop training attack)
40 strength and beyond - Flesh Crawlers

If your Attack Level is 1, there isn’t much of a choice for a weapon. Try an Iron Scimitar. Weak, but fast. Kill some cows North-East of Lumbridge. Drop everything but the Cowhides, because Cowhides are a whole 100 coins. After you get a full load of Cowhides, go back to the Lumberidge Castle, climb the stairs twice and put the Cowhides in your bank.
At Attack Levels 5-10, do the same thing. At Level 5 use a Steel Scimitar. At 10, use a Black Scimitar.
If you are not a member, kill some Monks at the Montastery. Each Monk you kill gives about 50 Experience. If you are low on health, they can heal you.
If you are a member and you are at Attack Level 20, you should get a Mithril Scimitar and this time, go to Pest Control by going to Port Sarim, and get a ride from a Squire.(they are located at the dock above the one on the bottom) After getting a ride, go a lil South, and climb on board the great ship! If you beat the easy game, you earn Pest Points. Going a tiny bit North will bring you to a Void Knight. Exchange with her and buy Attack Experience. Do not buy anything else.
When your Attack Level is 30, you know the drill. Get a Adamant Scimitar and keep training at Pest Control.
At 40 Attack (congrats) get a Rune Sword or Rune Scimitar. Both of ‘em are great. As usual, stay at Pest Control.
When you’re 60 Attack, beat the Lost City quest. You should use a Dragon Longsword or a Dragon Scimitar.
*If you think these guys are too weak, fight some Green Dragons. They are West of Clan Wars. Be sure to bring a Anti Dragon shield as well as about 9 lobsters. But be careful, Green Dragons are around Level 75. To know more info about making money from Green Dragons, go to http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Money-in-RuneScape-with-Green-Dragon-Hide.
At 70 Attack, get your hands on an Abyssal Whip and fight at Pest Control.
If your really at 75 Attack get a GS (God Sword). Since your so strong, you can kill pretty much anything. You can go to the King Black Dragon, most high leveled monsters will do good.

[edit] TipsAlways use an Amulet of Strength or, if your a member, use Amulet of Glory. Both of them will make your attack stronger. Potions are pretty good too, but they are costly. You should only buy ‘em if your rich.
If you want to get Attack Level higher faster, go to Pest Control. If you want money, you can kill other things. Like Chaos Druids, they are around Level 13 and can drop Ranarrs, which are worth like 5k. Chaos druids are easy to kill and have great drops.
You don’t know how to play Pest Control? Well, all you gota do is aboard the ship and go East, South or West. There would be NPC that attack you, kill them. But, when you can attack a Portal, kill it quickly. The object of the game is to destroy the Portals. And to keep the NPC in the middle alive.
NPC= Non-Player Character
If you don’t know where to sell or buy any items, go to the Grand Exchange which is West of Varrock. Talk to the Grand Exchange clerk. If you still don’t know where the Grand Exchange is, check on your map by typing “Grand Exchange”.
http://runescape.com is a game anyone can sign up for.

[edit] WarningsIf your at Pest Control and playing the Mini-Game, DON’T WORRY! If you die, you lose no items. But if your not in the Mini-Game, you can die and lose all of your items. If you fight creaters that are higher leveled than you, be sure to bring food. Be careful and good luck!

Is Runescape going into recession? some disturbing facts about the economy.

After every update there are players moaning because the economy is going to crash, normally I take the mickey out of them and ask them why they don’t quit.

There are definite signs that the economy is going down, not supple hints but big huge jumps in price in a downward trend across the board, I am not talking about resources but with regard to the more expensive items such as armours.

I had a slayer task for Iron dragons, in fact my last 5 slayer tasks have been Iron Dragons, when I did my first task I missed the task complete fanfare and carried on, it must have been 10 to 20 dragons later that I got a Draconic Visage, woot I thought this is a nice bit of cash to buy my Armadyl set that I wanted, how wrong was I, the Draconic Visage is unsellable, the price of the dragonfire shield was 18m and dropped to 16m in a day, the Visage sells for just over 21m, who is going to buy a visage for 21m to make it into a shield worth 16m and if their not 90 smithing pay 1m for the privilege?
It gets worse, I decided to sell my Dragonfire Shield as I put it on GE it came up with the message, you can not sell this on the grand exchange, wtf, I looked a bit further and I could buy a DFS for 16m but I couldn’t sell mine, its a god job I never converted my visage or I would have been stuck with 2 shields and wasted 1m building it.

So what now do I hi alch my visage, I cant sell it as a visage because of the price and I cant sell the DFS because GE wont accept it, all you guys wanting a visage drop forget it its trash, albeit trash worth 21m, ive left mine on GE at minimum price hoping that the price will increase.

I was given a hint that the merchants have dumped the DFS so the price has dropped, I can not vouch for this as being the case but things do seem to add up, the price dropping drastically over a few days, and the ability to not sell on the GE could be a way for Jagex to maintain stability, if it is the case the merchants are spoiling the game for the good players and causing Jagex to bring in unpopular measures to counteract the mindless actions of others.

When will people learn that they are not doing any good by trying to abuse the system they are just risking the free trade and stability of the game for good players, the problem is Jagex will get the blame for it like the pkin and RWT updates, people wanting to cheat at the game made a huge effect on the rest of the players, its just lucky that the pk and rwt brought a great number of updates that benefited everyone.

So you may think im over reacting over 1 item the visage, maybe but I have also noticed that the price of Bandos has dropped the price of sara swords, Armadyl armour and swords has also dropped, you may expect this but by over 1m for some items every day is worrying, I had a zammy hilt as a drop and made the godsword by buying the shards, despite the godswords being carp I kept it because it was a drop that I got on my own when they were new, recently the price shot up from 40m to 60m so I sold it, a week or 2 later the price had dropped to 40m again and the Bandos was 30m so I bought the Bandos, the price for Bandos gs is now 21m.

I was saving up for the Armadyl armour but at the rate it is dropping I will be losing out big time very quickly, the Armadyl armour/weapons dropped a combined total of over 5m since yesterday, however I do not need to save up for it now.

Many of you will be thinking thats great we can wear some good armour for a very low price, think about when you have trained for many years to get good levels to kill big bosses, you risk life and limb and end up with a lootshare of 500k for a great drop, is it worth it? I think it is worth it just for the fun but many players play for cash and its not so great for them.

I don’t think this will make a great deal of impact on the game but the motivation of good monster drops will be a thing of the past very soon.
This is the Armadyl Plateskirt price graph for the month including the price crash, this graph is identical in shape (obviously not price) for most of the god armour, dragonfire shield, and dragon armour as well as some other bits and pieces, it will be interesting to see if happens the same way when the schools return next year.
