Every year Runescape throws huge parties for different occasions. The three most common are; Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. On these three days, Jagex sends out a NPC and a new quest. If you do the quest (Which is usually easy), you will be rewarded with a Holiday item. Although at the time everyone will have one, so you wont feel special, but once the event is over and they have been taken out of circulation, you can have quite a bit of fun with people who have not seen what it does. There is an Easter ring that can turn you into an egg.

It is always fun when someone walks by and the egg sitting on the road speaks to them. My favorite party has always been the Easter party. The holiday items are usually magical and you can have loads of fun with them. One year they passed out Rubber Chickens and you can walk up and “whack” people with it. Not too many people have these anymore, so it’s always fun to wield one, walk up, and whack a random person out of the wilderness. They will usually freak out and ask questions like “How did you do that?!” The holiday parties are always big, and loads of fun. The last Easter party you actually got to become a bunny! I bet by now you cannot wait for the next holiday quest!

Sheep Shearer Quest
Reward: 150 Crafting XP and 60gp.
Quest Points: 1
Items Needed: None.
Items Recommended: None.
Items Acquired During the Quest: Shears, 20 Wool, and 20 Balls of wool.
Requirements: None.
Length: Short
Difficulty: Novice
Start Point: Northwest of Lumbridge.
Description: Fred the Farmer’s sheep are getting mighty woolly. He will pay you to shear them.
To Start: Speak with Fred the Farmer.

First, you must locate Fred the Farmer. Fred can be found at him farm. The farm is Northwest of the Sheep Pen, and the Sheep Pen is North of the Lumbridge Castle.

Talk to Fred and he will tell you that his sheep need shearing, but that he does not have the time to do it. He will ask you to help him by bringing him 20 balls of wool. Agree to help him and pick up the shears that are lying on the table in the farmhouse.

Go into the field next to Fred’s house. Either use your shears on the sheep or simply click on them, and then you will get some wool. Shear 20 sheep and get 20 wools. Now, you have your wools, but they are not balls of wool. Therefore, you are going to have to spin them into balls. To do this, go to the Lumbridge Castle.

When you have arrived in the castle, go up the ladder in the southwest corner to the next level. Click the spinning wheel and click make X then type 20 and it will spin all your wools into balls, alternatively, you can use each wool on the Spinning Wheel to turn them into Balls of wool, but this can take awhile.

Once you have spun all your wool into balls, take them back to Fred the Farmer for your reward. Sheep Shearer quest is finished.

Vampire Slayer Quest
Requirements: Able to defeat a level 34 Vampire
Difficulty: Novice
Length: Short
Items Needed: A hammer, Armor and Weapon, and a few coins.
Reward: 4825 Attack experience.
Quest Points: 3
Start Point: Draynor Village.
Description: The people of Draynor village live in constant terror. Their numbers are dwindling, all due to the foul creature lurking in the manor to the north known as a vampire.
To Start: Speak to Morgan.

To begin this quest, locate Morgan in Draynor Village. Talk with him and he will tell you of a vampire, and that he wants you to kill it. He will send you to find his friend Dr. Harlow at the Blue Moon Inn. Before you go all the way to Varrok, head upstairs and search the wall cupboard. You will receive a clove of Garlic. This will be needed later in the quest.

Now go south of the center of Varrok, and you will find the Blue Moon Inn. (A lot of people cannot find this place because there are no signs pointing out that it IS the Blue Moon Inn.) Talk with Dr. Harlow, and buy him a beer when he asks for it. Then he will tell you how to kill the Vampire, and give you a Stake.

Gather everything you need and then go to Draynor Manor. Walk over to the staircase that goes down. Go down the stairs and open the coffin. Count Draynor will jump out and start attacking you. Fight him and when he gets a full red bar, the Stake should automatically stab him. If it does not, make sure you have the Hammer with you, and the Stake. (If it STILL does not work, try using Garlic on him or manually stabbing him with the stake.) When he dies, you will complete the quest.

Runescape Quest Help Guides - Your Runescape Quests Help Guide
Runescape quests are one of the more interesting and enjoyable aspects of Runescape, they keep the game interesting and there is usually a nice little reward at the end whether it be, Runescape gold, items or experience - but let’s face it, who doesn’t at some point or another get to the point in a quest where we could use some help with a Runescape quest in the form of a Runescape quest walkthrough. So I have tried to quickly compile a little review of one of my favorite Runescape quest help sites that has loads of guides and walkthroughs that help you “cheat” just a little bit when you get stuck. Which Quest Help site am I talking about; Rune Tower.

Runescape Tower Quest Walkthroughs & Help Guides
There are a number of runescape quest walkthrough sites out there that offer quest help, whether it be, rune hq, tip it, sals Runescape realm, or an assortment of others, but my favorite is the lesser known Rune Tower. Why? Well I personally like it for no other reason than usually their picture are better and they take their time to add a fair few of them to help explain things. I mean amongst all the sites that offer quest guides it’s nice to see them go that little bit extra.

Other Fansites Offering Runescape Quests Help
Whilst my pick of quest guide sites may be Rune Tower that is not to say that the other sites out there offering quest help guides are inadequate, it’s quite the opposite actually all the major sites like rune hq, tip it, sals Runescape realm etc all have wonderful guides as well, and if you are planning to doing a recently released quest then your safer bet would be to visit these sites first as they normally have walkthrough guides up within days of the quest’s release if not hours.

So whilst quests are probably one of the best things about Runescape we all at some point or another need some help with our Runescape quests, but picking the right site to help you also matters. So if you haven’t already taken the chance to use Rune Tower for your quest help needs I highly recommend them.

The festive season is upon us, and to celebrate we’re presenting you with the result of your Guaranteed Content Christmas poll, in the form of this years’ Christmas event. We’ve also got an appropriately wintery quest for you in Myths of the White Lands. We hope you have lots of fun, and enjoy your Christmas adventures!

Merry Christmas!

A number of slippery ice patches have been spotted in Gielinor, and there is growing concern that someone, or something, is trying to ruin everybody’s Christmas. With so much ice around, the safety of the inhabitants of RuneScape is at stake, and as if that wasn’t enough, disappointed children have been reporting a lack of presents in their stockings! According to imp emissaries from the Land of Snow, the problem originated in their homeland…those of you who remember the result of your Guaranteed Content Christmas poll may have an idea of what lies at the centre of the mystery!

Meanwhile, in Lumbridge, Explorer Jack has heard tales from a chatty snow imp of mythical riches in the Land of Snow. Of course, he leaves the adventuring to younger explorers these days, but he could be talked into rewarding someone willing to fetch these riches for him. In Myths of the White Lands, you will discover what lies at the heart of snow imp lore, and the creatures that accompany it. You will need ingenuity, skill and quick reflexes to succeed in this particularly puzzling quest, which more experienced players may find contains a few extra rewards.

Myths of the White Lands will be available to all players for two weeks, after which it will be available only to members. The Christmas event will be available to all players for two weeks only.

This is the first quest (and event) I have written, and it’s exciting to finally have something I made released. I really hope that you like them both, and that you have at least as much fun playing them as I had writing them. Merry Christmas, everybody!Mod Maylea
