The combat triangle is the situation where melee has good defense and offense against Range because arrows easily bounce off that hard, bulky metal and swords can easily cut through soft durable leather.

First off, there are three main types of combat; Melee, Magic, and Range (archery to some). Some people prefer only one of these skills while others prefer to train up two or all three of the skills. These three types of combat have their own advantages and disadvantages that are represented in the Runescape combat triangle.

Rangers will have the upper-hand again mages users because arrows can easily pierce those thin robes and magic is deflected against leather and dragon-hide. Magic users (commonly known as mages) will normally be seen trying to fight a warrior because magic can be shot from longer distances than arrows and the armor has a very weak magic defense and is much heavier than the light robes that mages where allowing them to run for longer. All types of combat also have their own styles to use for accurate, aggressive, or defensive measures.

Of course combat, and fighting in general, is arguably the largest part of RuneScape. Players can battle different monsters as well as each other in mini games. This will be in search of xp for the next level, or killing for your slayer assignment. Fighters buy the food from cookers, potions from herbalists as well as weapons and armour from smiths and crafters and so drive several markets in the RuneScape economy. This guide is about melee combat, meaning to fight with weapons and armour hand to hand. See the Ranging and/or Magic guide(s) to learn about non-melee combat.

When you are engaged in combat you will see your character using the wielded weapon (or just his fists and feet) to attack the opponent and vice versa. Damage inflicted on each other will be shown as splash numbers showing how much will be deducted from your hp (hit points). The amount of damage each combat participant has taken is indicated by a horizontal bar above their head. If your bar is entirely green you are not hurt; it will turn red as you are hit. If the bar goes entirely red you’re dead!

If you reach 0 hp you will die and re-appear in Lumbridge with only the 3 best items you had in your inventory at the time. If you had a ’skull’ over your head from Abyss Runecrafting or Bounty Hunter, you will lose all your items that were in your inventory. In all cases, you can’t lose what is in your bank. (Members can change their respawn point to Falador after completing the Recruitment Drive quest, or to Camelot after completing the King’s Ransom quest.)

If you are just starting out in Melee you may want to pay a visit to Harlan the Melee Tutor north of Lumbridge Castle to learn about the different kinds of melee weapons and armour as well as various other tips. He will supply you with a training sword and shield. The practice dummies nearby offer almost no experience, approximately 1xp per 10 damage.

Beginners can safely melee train on the combat dummies located upstairs in Varrock Castle, or north of Varrock’s east bank. Players can accumulate Attack experience here until they reach Attack level 8, without the risk of being damaged by a monster.Have good game!

We love Runescape. It’s a great game and there’s always so much to do.As every player known there are a lot of things you need to know about your Runescape account. One major factor is security of your account, as you don’t want your valuable Runescape items and character suddenly going missing now do you? Jagex has taken extra steps in the way of safety lately, for example, they introduced the bank PIN code that players can set to make the items in their bank safer if their character is hacked into. Also, Jagex tries really hard to make players realise that they will not ask for anyone’s username and password, and that you must always sign in from Runescape.com and nowhere else; or you could risk losing your character to someone else.

Keeping your runescape account safe

There are a few steps you can take to ensure that your account is as safe as it can be, and not prone to getting accessed by other people. Here they are:
1) When setting your password, add both letters and digits: It’s always a good idea to vary you passwords a lot. Make sure that your Runescape password is not the same as any of your other passwords, and that you add digits just to make it that bit more hard to hack into.

2.) Never let your password out to anyone: It’s kind of obvious. Don’t even tell family or close friends, they could potentially let it out by accident to someone else who could access your account.

3) Make sure you only log into the game from Runescape.com: This is extremely important, as in the past there have been people who thought that you could log into Runescape from a variety of different website; this is NOT true, so make sure your only on Runescape.com when your logging in.

4) Always set a secret question and answer: Just incase someone does manage to hack your account, you’ll at least have the chance of getting it back so a secret question and answer is good to set; make sure you let no one know what it is either.

5) Don’t get fooled by someone claiming to be Jagex Staff: Some people get tricked in-game in thinking that one player is of the Jagex staff. They are only affiliated with Jagex if they are moderators (and have a gold-crown next to their name). Player moderators (with silver crowns) are not to be trusted at all as they are at the end of the day, players.

I hope these points help you in keeping your account more safe.Hmm,Good Luck.

If you’re bored and wondering around Runescape, why not attack that Guard over there? You never know, it might drop a Runescape Clue Scroll. If you have a Clue Scroll, then its time to start your treasure trail. There are three different levels of Treasure Trails, each with a better reward than the last. To get a higher level Clue Scroll you have to kill a higher-level monster. For a level one clue scroll, you will have to kill a monster between the levels of 2 and 48, for level two you will have to kill ones in the range of 21 to 149 and for level three you will need to kill in the levels of 56-304.

While, once you get a clue scroll, read it! This is the first step to finding your treasure. There are different types of clue scroll such as anagrams, maps, emotes, and so on. Anagrams will require you to unscramble the letters and then find that person and speak to them. Maps give you a piece of the world map with an X in a certain place. You have to dig on the X to get a casket which has your next clue or reward inside. Emote clues require you to be wearing certain armor/hats/boots, etc and then perform the emote in the given place. You will have to work out which place you need to go to though. Example: Panic in the heart of the Haunted Woods. Beware of double agents! Have no items equipped when you do. The haunted woods is the woods East of Canafis and the emote you have to perform is Panic. Its as easy as that.

Got your very first Treasure Trail clue scroll as a member? Already spent hours beating yourself up over not being able to solve it? Fear not! Everything you need to know regarding Treasure Trails, can be found in this guide. If you are not sure what Treasure Trails are, here is a brief description.

Certain monsters in RuneScape will drop “Clues.” After getting a clue, you will be able to “Read” them to find out what the clue is. To solve the clue you may need to search crates, talk to a person, or dig up a casket in the ground. Once you solve the clue, you will get another one. After solving a number of clues, you will obtain a reward. This reward depends on the class of the clue you were given.

There is a great variety of items you can gain by completing a clue scroll. Some are valuable items, such as 3rd age melee armor. Some not so valuable items include a fire battlestaff. Runescape treasure trail rewards can only be obtained by completing a clue scroll, or some items can be bought from other players. This is how it is possible for free players to obtain some of these items.

The following sections will explain the reward system, and give you answers to all the clues in RuneScape.

There are three different classes determine the rewards for clues and there are different methods of getting different classes of clues. Level 1 Clues being the easiest to get and Level 3 Clues being the most difficult. Please note that at any given time, you can only have one clue. If you have a clue in your bank or inventory, you cannot pick up another clue.

Clues are generally obtained from monster drops, however there other ways they can be obtained. All the sources of clues are listed in the table below.

Talk to Unferth in Burthrope and you will find out his cat named Bob has gone missing. Agree to help him find him and Unferth will ask you to talk to his friend Hild who lives nearby him who can also help look for Bob. Make sure you have your cat/kitten and amulet of catspeak on at all times.
Pet Cats
There’s not much more rewarding in life than raising a pet and seeing it develop into adulthood. In RuneScape, of course, this can mean raising a kitten from being a cute ball of fur to the dizzy heights of wily cats and their supreme vermin-catching skills. Yes, cats in RuneScape are a bit more exciting than your next door neighbour’s kitty.

Where to get your cat
Gertrude, who lives just west of Varrock, is a bit of a cat fanatic. Her own cat, Fluffs, also provides her with regular litters of kittens. In order to own a kitten, or any other type of cat, you must have completed the Gertrude’s Cat quest. When you complete this, Gertrude will give you your first kitten.
If you lose your kitten, or you want a new kitten later on, come back to Gertrude and she will sell you one for 100 coins.

Looking after your cat
There are five main types of cat: kitten, grown cat, overgrown cat, wily cat and lazy cat. If you want your kitten to develop further you must take care of it. If you fail to feed your kitten, or pay too little attention to it, it will run away and never come back. It’s a lucky thing, then, that looking after your cat is so easy.
Kittens can be fed any fish, cooked or uncooked (except for seasoned sardines - they don’t share their mother’s taste for spicy food. Also note that seaweed, edible or otherwise, is not a fish), as well as milk. They will also eat any rats they catch, but kittens are too young to be very good at this, so it pays to keep some fish or milk handy
Kittens also require a bit of attention, which is really very simple. Right-clicking the kitten and selecting ‘Interact with Kitten’ will allow you to then select ‘Stroke’, which keeps any kitten happy. You can also get a ball of wool to entertain your cat; simply use the ball of wool on your cat and it will merrily play with it. They will also play with plain wool, but will destroy it as it plays.
All cats enjoy hunting rats, and you can do this anywhere you see ordinary level 1 rats running about. Simply right-click on your cat and select ‘Interact with’, before choosing ‘Chase’. Kittens are not very good at hunting rats, but they improve as grown cats, and improve again as wily cats.
If you would prefer to keep your cat away from flea-infested rats, you might like to go to your house and make some clockwork mice in your workshop. Like ordinary rats, your cat will hunt clockwork mice. Be aware that your cat will also destroy them, so you might like to make a few if you plan on training your cat in this way.
No cat ages in your inventory or in the bank, so in order for them to develop you need to take them out into the world. Once your kitten has been active for a sufficient period of time (so, not in your inventory or bank) it will transform into a fully grown cat. Grown cats are better at catching rats and require no more feeding or attention.
After a further period, your cat will transform into an overgrown cat. Overgrown cats cannot hunt rats except in the rat pits, and they will only transform into a wily cat if you take them to be trained by Felkrash, in the Port Sarim rat pit.

You may only upgrade an overgrown cat to a wily cat if you have completed the Rat Catchers quest.
Wily cats are the finest of all hunting cats, and can also run quite quickly. When your cat becomes a mighty wily cat, they also learn how to hunt creatures other than rats: wily cats can hunt kalphite larvae (in the Kalphite Lair) and butterflies. If your wily cat does not get enough exercise, though, it will become a lazy cat.
Lazy cats are not as athletic as wily cats, and can only hunt rats, but they can be retrained to become wily cats again. Should your wily cat become lazy, merely spend some time taking him hunting to work off his excess fat and your cat should transform back into a wily cat. The more time you spend at once exercising your lazy cat, the sooner it will be back to its energetic, wily state.
If you ever tire of your kitten or cat you can rid yourself of them by right-clicking on them, selecting ‘Interact with’ and then choosing ‘Shoo-away’. If you do this the cat will never return, so be very sure that you want to rid yourself of it.
You can own many cats at once, but there are a couple of limitations. You may own as many overgrown cats as you can handle, but only one kitten or grown cat, and only one wily or lazy cat.

OK I may be being a bit harsh when I call people idiots for using these passwords for Runescape; and I might be being a bit over the top when I say hackers will crack these Runescape passwords - because really all they’d be doing is guessing them, but non the less if your Runescape password is on this list then you need to seriously consider changing it as soon as possible to prevent your Runescape account being hacked. I’m not posting this list so that people get hacked, I’m posting this list because I want to realise that if one of the above  is your Runescape password there are a number Runescape hackers that will test these passwords with your Runescape account - it’s just a matter of time.

So what can you do to protect you Runescape password? It is going to sound simple and if you have heard it once you would have heard it a thousand times, don’t use the same password for Runescape as you do other places. It’s a simple step and whilst 99% of other Runescape related sites you sign up at using some sort of password will be secure and have no intention of abusing the information they have on you that doesn’t mean you should trust them (even if you know the data collected like your password is automatically encrypted).

Another simple step you can take to ensure you are never hacked is even easier than the first. It is never tell anyone your Runescape password or your password recovery questions. You’d think this would go without saying but if I had to bet, I’d bet that over 50% of all Runescape accounts that are hacked would be a result of person obtaining someone’s password by them telling them either directly or by them telling someone else who passes the information onto a third party. So a simple rule that will save you a lot of grief is just to never, under any circumstance, tell someone your Runescape password.

Now I mentioned earlier that lots of sites atomically encrypt data to prevent site admins or owners from using that information against users, this usually includes passwords. However encryptions like most things can be broken, so you want to make sure you make your password as secure as possible. So you password should consist of at least 8 character and include both letters and numbers. This should ensure that your password is as difficult to break as it can be.

It seems to be of growing popularity that Runescape players that are sick of earning gold the regular way are looking for quick ways to hack people’s accounts and one of the most popular ways is having files installed on other Runescape player’s computers to collect the user’s Runescape password. How do you avoid having you account hacked this way – simple – don’t download mysterious files form untrustworthy resources. Just because it is on the internet and says it isn’t a malicious file doesn’t mean it is safe, and if you haven’t already installed spyware and virus protection I highly recommend you get on top of that, because the internet is full of nasty files and you need a means of protecting both your computer and precious details from such things.

Another seemingly simple plan is also to make sure that you periodically change your runescape passwords. Whilst this technique is more often used to prevent your accounts being hacked on sites that have cookies enabled - which isn’t the case for Runescape. Nonetheless, periodically changing you runescape password and your other account passwords if a good habit to get into.

This is a Runescape guide about Revenant Hunting Guide. it will teach you how to effectively kill revenants also well teach you the hotspots at where they spawn and lastly the information about every single revenant!

The Basic Revenant: All revenants can teleblock this is usually done when they use a magic attack on you which is a form of a snowball like thing, teleblock is you can’t teleport as long as your in the wilderness, if you get out of the wilderness then you can teleport. They can also poison you which is usally done by their rangeing attack a icy dart PLEASE NOTE THIS ATTACK ALSO FREEZES YOU FOR AROUND 5 SECONDS! drink a anti-poison potion if your poisoned, no anti-poison potion or food? run to the nearest bank. Finally the revenants most weakest attack melee it usally takes form of a bite, punch, or sword slash etc depending on what revenant you fight, melee attacks can poison you sometimes…but it cant teleblock you or freeze you it has no effects expect hurting you. Finally all Revenants can use all forms of combat magic-a snowball like thing with a skull inside, range-a icy dart and finally melee-bite, punch, or sword slash etc depending on what revenant you fight. All these attacks can hurt you. They can cure themselves of poison and can heal themselves a limited number of times. The magic is known to be one of its strongest attacks(Maybe only because its the most common attack they use). They will also chase you down. An enchanted salve amulet is also suggested since these creatures are undead. Revenants also take time to spawn so if one doesnt spawn for 10 min its ok it happens. They can also go through doors and attack through doors and gates and what not if you got it cornered behind a rock or something so it cant melee you, it is possiable for it to tele behind you but those are the higher level revenants. One final word of advice never think a revenant is a noob a lvl 45 revenant can kill a well armed lvl 65.

Want to kick some demonic ass while acquiring powerful armor? Here is a great monster you can fight while watching your bank grow by selling the loots. What are you waiting for? Here is the guide you need to kill those petulant demons

Requirement- There is no requirement, only some suggestions.

Lesser demons are great monsters to fight in f2p, they can drop some good items such as rune medium helmet or mith chain body. They are also easy to kill and require very low levels. Most people there are rangers or archers.
For warriors, at least level 50 combat and ability to catch and cook tuna.

For mages, at least level 13 to use fire strike.

For archers, at least level 40 for dragon hides.

Bring your best equipment with you, everybody have to have at least 30 gp. Mages need runes for spells and archers need arrows. Warriors need a harpoon or lobster pot with an axe.

The lesser demon exist in the Kamaja island. To get there, pay the sailors at port sarim 30 gp for a ride. If you are a warrior, go to the fishing dock north of the island and fish some fish, cook them by chopping down trees, buy a tinderbox and cook them. If you are a mage or archer, no food is needed, however one or two tunas won’t hurt.

When you are ready, go to the west of the island and find a volcano, go to the top of the volcano and find a rope, climb down. When you are down there, you will see some bats with skeletons, there are also some gold rocks there you can mine. Ignore the monsters over there and rune west until you see a road to south, go there and you will find the lesser demons.

Notice there are two safe spots on the island, one is on the east where there is a group of rocks, go into the center of the rocks and the demons cannot hit you. The other one is at the south where you will also see a group of rocks, go to the north of it and the demons cannot hurt you. The archers and mages can take advantage of this by stay in the safe spot and hit the demons. The warriors and rest here when your health is low.

The demons have pretty low defense and attack. They are easy to kill however remember to check your health because they can hit 8. Eat when your health is half of your max health. Pick up the fire runes on the ground if there are no demons around. If you got a rune medium helmet, sell it for 10k or high alchemy it for 11k.

Anyone who plays Runescape probably know what a Runescape bot is and even more have probably used one.But what is the Runescape Fishing bot?

The Runescape Fishing Bot is a program that gives players an unfair advantage in Runescape. Players use this program to gain levels, or most commonly, money. When players use macros to get money, they are referred to as “Gold Farmers”. When Jagex introduced the trade limits, this (almost) stopped the people that sold Runescape gold for real money.

I actually don’t know what the first Runescape bot was called or its function, or if it was more than one Bot released, but I do know that Runescape Bots changed the history of Runescape and its community forever.

The basic idea of a Runescape Bot is that the program levels up for you so you don’t have to by using an “auto clicker” but with more options on the interface menu. An auto clicker is basically a program that automatically clicks for you, hence the name “auto clicker”. At first it started off as just a program that clicks at the same spot 100 times faster than the human being, but soon the underground community who makes these bots started to develop clickers that are capable of clicking more than one spot, and even moving for you (basically a sequence of clicks)
Sadly, these people found a way around even that. Therefore, they invented Gold Farming. This new way breaks even MORE rules, because they have to get on the person’s account to Gold Farm. This is in breach of Rule 6, Account Sharing/Trading. Of course, I could go on and on about all the rules you break when you buy gold

Using a macro is against Rule 7, for many reasons than one. The obvious reason is that when you use it you get an unfair advantage, but this is not the only reason. Most people who claim to be giving out these programs are really giving out viruses known as Keyloggers. These viruses can steal your Runescape name and password. Not to mention anything else you type such as your email, credit card information, and so on.

What to look for in a suspected bot
Bots are very easy to detect, even for normal players. On Free to Play worlds, they are usually level 3, with the default look. They will have random names usually, though some might have Asian names, as Jagex claims most of the botters come out of the East Asian countries. On Pay to Play worlds they are anywhere from 3-30, but there have been some bots that are higher levels.

Another way to tell if the player is a bot, ask them questions. If they do not respond most likely, they are bots. Bots will do their assigned task and ONLY their assigned task. Therefore, if you have a fishing bot, they are going to fish and bank, and then go back to fishing. They will do this over and over without saying a word to anyone

I learned a little more about how bots work, so let me tell you how the popular ones work -
Newly created Runescape Fishing Bots will start getting levels by net fishing in Draynor Village. According to how smart the bot is, when they get to level 40 fishing, they will head to Catherby for Members and to Karamja for non-members. When they get to 68, they might then go to the Fishing Guild in pay to play worlds. When they reach 76, they will then fish sharks at the Fishing Guild or at Catherby. Some, however, may stick with lobsters (usually free to play).

So what did the botters do to our economy? Those who are leveling their cooking to 99 are happy that they were here. They lowered the price of raw fish a great deal, so now they are able to get to 99 a lot cheaper. of course, those who sell fish for a living think the exact opposite because the money they were making has fallen, so now they have to produce more fish for the same amount as they were getting before.

At one point in 2007, Raw Sharks were down to 400 coins each because of the surplus the bots were producing. After the mass bannings of the fishing bots, the sharks have started to climb again, they climbed to 800, and now they are close to 1000 each again.

So now, you know how bad botting can be, and why there are rules against it. Please, do not use a macro. Have fun, be fair, and most importantly, Happy Playing!

To begin playing Bounty Hunter, you will first have to speak with Mandrith, who will explain how the minigame works.
When you are ready to begin tracking your foes through the Bounty Hunter crater, you will have the option to enter one of three caves. These caves - which look increasingly ominous for quick identification - are arranged by combat level requirements, as follows:

* Level 3 - 55: western cave
* Level 50 - 100: central cave
* Level 95+: east cave

Entering one of these caves will transport you to a crater populated by other players in your combat range. In the unlikely event that there aren’t enough players to begin the slaughter, you will be transported to a waiting room. There, you will have some time to prepare yourself before you are teleported into the crater. Provided there are at least 10 people in the waiting room, you will have 30 seconds to prepare yourself. If there are not enough people playing Bounty Hunter in your combat range, you will have to wait for more players to join.
When there are enough players, you will be able to see how long you have left to wait by looking at the box in the top-right corner of the game window. In the meantime, you might like to have a quick chat with the cleaners that walk about sweeping up the dust and grit that bounty hunters inevitably leave behind.
When you are teleported into the crater, you will notice that the countdown timer box changes slightly.
The box in the top-right corner will display the name of the player you have been assigned to hunt down and defeat.
Above everyone’s head will be a skull and a pile of coins. This indicates the market value of the items that each person is carrying.
The colour of the skull and the size of the pile of coins corresponds to the market value of items a player is carrying, so it should be a simple matter to judge how much wealth someone has at a glance.
The greater the value of the items someone is carrying, the higher the skull level (colour and size of coin pile) they will have. As you can imagine, the more items you accumulate from killing your enemies, the more attractive a target you will become!
You will arrive at a random entrance to the crater, and will have 6 seconds to compose yourself, during which time you cannot be attacked or attack anyone else. After this, you can be attacked by anyone and, if you are slain, you will lose all the items you are carrying.

Now the section you have all been waiting for. You know how to defend yourselves and have now found a good clan. You also have the required inventories and armor as shown above. Note well that from experience, I have learnt that you have to spend money to gain money. Entering the crater with iron arrows will give you almost no kills at all, unless your range level is 80+. Steels, miths and addies are the only type of arrows you should be pking with. If you make your own clan, the first time you enter should be with iron arrows until you weed out the bsers. Now, I will outline how you can use all these tips and tricks to your advantage.
Be on the lookout always keep your eyes peeled for persons who may be walking around without their clans. Chances are, once you have trained to sufficient levels, the person to get the first hit in will get the kill. Once you see someone, attack them quickly and your clan will do the same. Once they die, pick up the items they drop quickly and follow your leader once again.
Assuming you are victorious, you will see all of your foe’s equipment drop on the ground for you to collect. No one else will be able to see this, but you only have two minutes to pick it up, so it’s a good idea to start choosing what you want to keep as soon as possible - not least because someone hunting you might just track you down!
If you kill someone other than your target
If the person you killed wasn’t your target, you will receive a ‘pick-up penalty’ for not following Mandrith’s rules and you will notice a countdown has started, displayed in the top right of your screen. This countdown has no effect on you unless you pick up items during this time. If you do so, Mandrith will change it to a harsher, ‘leave penalty’ - one that prevents you from leaving, so you are stuck in the area for a few minutes and become an easier target!
While you are trapped in the crater you will find that even logging out won’t help you: you won’t be able to! Even if you close your browser window, you will still be in the crater and vulnerable to attack.
The only way to appease Mandrith is to hunt down and slay your correct target. The guardian of the crater will be pleased by this and remove any countdowns you have been penalised by.
After you kill someone within your clan with a grey skull, and you get the kill, there is an almost 100% chance you will die, simply because when you take the stuff that they had, your skull is going to turn grey, and since the seed of bsing has already been planted, no one will think twice about attacking you. If you decide to leave some stuff on the ground, then attacking the person in the first place would have been a waste because you may have gotten the same items from someone without a grey skull that wasn’t in your clan.
Use your binds I have included binds in your inventory for more than defending yourselves. Once you have caused sufficient damage to an opponent, binding him will ultimately lead to your clan finishing him off for you. You will get the kill if you had damaged him enough. Even if you don’t get the kill, clan members will respect you for helping them get it and of course, there is always next time. Don’t always wait until you hit enough to bind them though,. If there is a big rival clan, bind any worthy opponents so that your clan will have the advantage of killing off their men and ultimately lead to your “owning” of the crater.

In the centre of the Wilderness, bounded on all sides by the desolation of the god wars, crouches a volcano. Not quite dormant, the bears witness to the violence  massive crater that of its birth is home to Mandrith, Guardian of the Crater. In the earliest days of man’s existence on RuneScape, this volcano was the site of the first murder, and for this reason an unnamed god cracked and split the earth to give the volcano life.
Since those first, horrific days, Mandrith’s ancestors have supplied a guardian to watch over the crater, where adventurers can go to slaughter each other.
Warning
Please note this is a ‘Dangerous’ minigame. If you die during this minigame, you will lose your items. You are ’skulled’ as soon as you enter the crater, and so you will not retain your three most valuable items if you are slain. You cannot teleport out of the minigame, and you can be denied the ability to exit or use the ‘Protect item’ prayer - and with the deadliest players in RuneScape hunting you, be sure that you take only items you don’t mind losing.
Bounty Hunter can only be played on certain worlds, please refer to the Themed Worlds list to find somewhere you can play this minigame.
In the Bounty Hunter minigame, you are tasked to hunt down a specific player and slay them, all the while being hunted by other players and avoiding the attentions of anyone else that might try to slay you and claim your property. Of course, you don’t have to hunt your specified target, and can instead slay anyone you please…
The Bounty Hunter minigame can be found in the centre of the Wilderness by walking up the palatial steps in the south-east of the volcano’s base. At the top of these steps you will find Mandrith, the mighty guardian of the crater.
Be aware that you may have to face some of the vicious beasts of the Wilderness in order to reach this location, and that you may encounter revenants on the way. For more information about the dangers of the Wilderness, please read the Wilderness Area Guide
