Some of the recent Runescape skills may seem quite complex to start. A lot of new items get involved as well as new shops, areas, monsters and techniques. People get one look at a multipage skill guide and go “Do I really need to read all this?!!”
Well, the answer is NO. At least not all at once. There are usually just a few things you really need to know in order to get into a new skill.

And this is exactly what this article about: 10 simple steps to start your Hunting carrier (*).

Step 1. Get into Yanille.

Step 2. Buy 2-3 bird snares and a noose wand in a hunter shop west of the Magic Guild. These items are not expensive at all (18gp for all). Take just a little bit of food with you. One or two lobsters will be sufficient. You only need food in case you get attacked while you walking to the hunting area - while you are hunting no one will attack you. It is a safe skill.

Step 3. Go south into the Feldip (Jungle) hunting area. You can walk there (see the map below), but better(and faster) ways are to teleport via a fairy ring (AKS) or fly into on a Gnome glider.

Step 4. Once you get into the hunting area go all the way east. On the shore there are Crimson Swifts (red birds) which you can catch with your bird snare (you will be able to use just one snare for a while). Catch birds (they give good exp - 34) till level 7. It should take 20 minutes or so.

Step 5. Then you can do some tracking. Just west of the Crimson Swifts there are holes with Kebbits. Investigate one, you’ll see tracks, follow the tracks and investigate near bushes and plants until you find the animal. Use noose wand to catch it.

Step 6. Get 2-4 levels on Kebbits. Then return to Crimson Swifts (red birds). You can switch between these two activities.

Step 7. When you reach level 19, go further west and start catching Tropical Wagtails (birds). These are awesome for leveling.

Step 8. Do that till level 43, when you switch to falconry.

Step 9. Somewhere in between you may take a break and get jungle camo outfit too.

Using these steps you should get to falconry in 5-6 hours.

Oh yeah, step 10: have fun in the process!
