Items: 100gp, an empty vial, one kwuarm, one red spiders' eggs, 4 pieces of cheese, one Unicorn Horn dust, one marrentill, one bucket of milk, catspeak amulet, one weed, one tinderbox, a pot and some food for your cat
Must also have a kitten or cat. Overgrown cats can't catch rats, so you cannot use an overgrown cat for this quest. See Gertrude's Cat for more information on getting a kitten/cat.
